CAMERON MOR - trainer R Holmes was warned for presenting the gelding to race with a pacifier instead of the notified blinds. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.

A LATE LATE PRESSY - over-raced at various stages throughout. Held up early in the run home.

Race 4   GLOBAL ELITE SPORTS MOBILE PACE
DON'T QUOTE ME - trainer S Matheson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race with sliding blinds instead of the notified blinds. Broke early in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
WEBS REACTOR - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up middle stages of the run home.
PRESIDENT PAT - driver N Burton was warned for failing to notify Stewards he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 5   NORTH END MOTORS HANDICAP TROT
MUSCLE BANK - when questioned regarding the improved performance the connections advised the mare had been suited to leading and appreciated racing on the grass track surface.
BELISMA - broke at the start losing all chance. Trotted roughly and was uneven in its gait at various stages during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with trainer A Lethaby in the coming days.
IDLE STUARTIA - struck a track marker near the 500m when laying in which was dislodged.
ALI LINDENNY - weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the mare had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
PRINCE TEKA - trotted roughly shortly after the start. Held up leaving the final bend.
ROYAL DEL - driver S Thornley was struck by a dislodged track marker near the 500m.

I'M YOUR HUCKLEBERRY - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had over-raced during the running and may have choked down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
FITZTHEBILL - broke briefly at the start. Held up in the middle stages of the run home.

CHANGEAROUND - reared as the start was effected losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.

BJ LINDENNY - broke at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly when weakening on the final bend.
THE DOMINATOR - the required veterinary clearance was received.
Race 8   FRESH CHOICE GERALDINE HANDICAP PACE
ALL BY MYSELF - broke at the start losing ground.
HAZER - late scratching at 9am on Veterinary advice.
CHAMPAGNEANDWINE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
STAR MAGIC - the rein pricker was removed prior to the start due to the gelding warming up unfavourably.
JIMMY ARMA - fractious prior to the start.
DEJA BLUE - hampered shortly after the start. Shifted wider on the track near the 400m when driver M Cations was activating gear. Mr Cations was warned for his lack of control at this stage of the race. Mr Cations was also warned for using his whip free of the rein on the final bend.
MAXIMILIAN - paced roughly rounding the final bend.
Race 9   VILLAGE INN & SUPER LIQUOR MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when VINCENT VEGA hampered MIGHTHAVTIME and ROCKNIZZY RULZ in the early stages of the score up with a warning placed on the barrier record of VINCENT VEGA.
A second false start was declared when MIGHTHAVTIME contacted the mobile barrier and broke in consequence checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record.
APATCHOFGOLD - raced wide early.
OLDE OAK EMMA - hampered by a weakening runner on the final bend.
ROCKNIZZY RULZ - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
Race 10   PLACEMAKERS TIMARU/TWIZEL/OAMARU GERALDINE CUP (HCP PACE)
The start was delayed when the sulky on CYRUS required attention.
HOMEBUSH LAD - began awkwardly.
CYRUS - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide from the 1100m.

CHAL PATCH - held up early in the run home.

BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - fractious and reared prior to the start.
PRINCE RANIER - broke after 100m losing ground. Broke again at the 900m losing all chance.

VERTIGO - broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer L McCormick.

SEABROOKE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
BETTOR BE SHARP - held up early in the run home.
IDEAL ROBYN - broke near the 500m losing ground. Broke again near the 350m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
JUBILEE ROCK - weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The connections advised they would give consideration to sending the filly for a spell.
MILLWOOD INDIE - driver G Smith advised the sliding blinds failed to activate due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Mr Smith also advised he had difficulty steering the filly and was disappointed with the performance. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the filly in the coming days.
BRI EXPRESS - raced wide early.
