The start was delayed due to BARRYTOWN requiring a sulky change.
ALFORBET - broke after 100m losing ground. Trotted roughly final bend before breaking near the 350m.
A LATE LATE PRESSY - hung inwards final bend and in the run home.
JIMMY VESEY - reared as the start was effected before breaking losing all chance causing driver R Holmes considerable difficulty. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts and stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from that start type.
ALI'S WISHES - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Broke in the early stages losing all chance.
RANDOM SPUR - over-raced middle stages.
BARRYTOWN - raced wide early.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - trotted roughly late in the run home and had to be steadied.
ROSE ISLE - broke after 150m losing ground. Held up leaving the final bend.
DASHING DUTCHY - stood on the mark losing ground. Broke in the early stages losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DIDJABRINGTHEBUBBLES - trainer C Howe was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the filly to race with the incorrect number.

EASTWOOD DREAM - driver C Thornley admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300m when allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of OLIVIA'S STAR and broke with trailing runners being hampered. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

BALTIMORE JILL - late scratching on Veterinary advice prior to the start after rearing and falling to the track on two occasions. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a mobile before resuming.

OUR ULTIMATE IVY - reared as the start was effected. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G Smith advised the filly had been unsuited to racing parked throughout.

Race 4   DRUG ALCOHOL TESTING SPECIALISTS MOBILE PACE
BEEPS - held up throughout the run home.
CHARLIE'S ACE - held up final bend. When questioned regarding the improved performance driver G Thornley advised the horse had been racing well in recent starts and was able to capitalize on an economical run today from a good barrier draw.
HEY TONIGHT - held up leaving the final bend.
TANE J J - held up rounding the final bend.
ROCK N DIAMONDS - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the gelding had worked hard in the middle stages to maintain the lead and had hung outwards causing him some difficulty.
WATCH ME - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver K Cox advised the mare was better suited to racing on grass tracks.
TIMES ARE A CHANGIN - briefly paced roughly passing the 1000m.
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - broke early in the score up however was in position at the start. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the mare had worked hard in the middle stages to improve to the parked position with the effort taking its toll.
GYPSY - held up final bend.
Race 5   CRATE & BARREL (LEESTON) TROT
PRINCE RANIER - broke after 200m losing ground.
REIGN - broke after 200m losing ground.
MURANO - shifted outwards just prior to the start checking an outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ZSAHARA - checked just prior to the start losing ground. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had spoken to driver S Tomlinson regarding this matter. After viewing the replays and hearing from Miss Tomlinson, Stewards declared ZSAHARA a non-runner acting under Rule 213(1)(j) due to the mare being denied a fair start.
TRES MAGNIFIQUE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver B Weaver advised the mare races best when able to lead and he had been able to dictate terms once reaching the front in the early stages.
MM SUNSHINE - broke near the 350m.
NAVARA - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke rounding the first bend losing ground.
KOHLI TROUBLE - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 250m.
SHES SO RIGHT - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Weakened from the 800m.
Race 6   JOSH WHITTAKER EQUINE DENTIST PACE
BETTOR BE SHARP - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
EBURY STREET - paced roughly after 150m and had to be steadied. Over-raced middle stages. Again paced roughly on the final bend.
ITZ MAGICAL MEG - broke at the start losing ground. Held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
ON REPORT - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1300m. Hung inwards on several occasions during the running. Weakened leaving the final bend.
TAKEMYBREATHAWAY - broke at the start losing ground.
ATOMIC TRAVELLER - over-raced early and middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
Race 7   CRAYTHORNE'S HOTEL (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
KRUIZR - driver W House will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
MAYBE - over-raced middle stages. Struck several track markers rounding the final bend. Driver S Payne was warned to make a greater effort to avoid track markers in the future. Mr Payne was also warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BETTOR BELIEVE IT - driver K Newman will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
MIDFREW LUISIANABEAU - over-raced in the early stages when wide on the track. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly could offer no explanation and was disappointed with the effort.
JAZELLE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no abnormalities.
WHERE'S DADDY - over-raced early stages.
J R BROMAC - over-raced middle stages. Held up over the concluding stages.
Race 8   AARON SWAIN / HERE FOR THE BEERS SYNDICATE PACE
SHARDS FURY - broke at the start losing ground.
KATHERINE - trainer B Negus advised the mare had been served since last racing. Fractious prior to the start and broke as the start was effected losing ground. Hampered near the 700m. Weakened final bend.
DE LA RENTA - paced roughly late in the run home. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had viewed a replay of the concluding stages and were satisfied the mare was in the correct gait as its nose reached the finish line.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1500m when ZIA BROMAC raced wider on the track after FOVEAUX GAMBLER shifted outwards from the marker line. After viewing the replays, it was established driver C DeFilippi (FOVEAUX GAMBLER) had commenced his outwards movement prior to ZIA BROMAC covering his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.
RAZORS EDGE - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered near the 700m.
SHE'S TOUGH - broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
BEST TRIO - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CHANGEAROUND - fractious prior to the start and was back from position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered near the 700m.
ZIA BROMAC - broke near the 700m losing ground hampering trailing runners. Driver T Williams reported the hopple shortener cord had contacted the mare's hind leg causing the horse to break.

APATCHOFGOLD - held up final bend.
ANN MAREE - briefly placed in restricted room shortly after the start. Raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering trailing runner.
FLO MOTION - over-raced early stages.
COACHELLA - late scratching at 12.25pm on Veterinary advice.
DEJA BLUE - hampered near the 250m.
CHAMBRAY - hung inwards racing into the first bend striking track markers.
CLASSIE LINC - raced wide from the 700m. Broke near the 250m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
MILLWOOD INDIE - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G Smith advised his intention had been to restrain in the early stages and race with cover, however, the filly had failed to settle shortly after the start so he elected to improve forward three-wide. Mr Smith added that the effort on the filly to improve to the lead had taken its toll on its ability to finish the race off in a competitive fashion.
Race 10   THE FAMOUS GROUSE HOTEL (LINCOLN) TROT
The start was delayed after the murphy blind on ROYDON MUSCLE broke and had to be removed by a Starter's Assistant.
ROYDON MUSCLE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Hung inwards throughout. Held up early in the run home.
TOM BRADY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
BELLEROPHONTE - broke near the 200m.
AIGUILLE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Broke near the 300m hampering a trailing runner.
LA DAMA - raced wide early. Broke near the 200m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.

MOTOR MOUTH - hung inwards shortly after the start despite the efforts of driver M Williamson checking an inside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SCOTLYNN BEACH BOY - over-raced in the early stages. Lay inwards in the middle stages.
