CORMORAN STRIKE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home.
INSTANT CLASSIC - trotted roughly shortly after the start. Broke near the 250m.
FEEL THE MOMENT - trotted roughly in the run home.
SIGRID - fractious prior to the start.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - raced wide early.
PETITE MUSCLE - raced wide early.
KAWHI - briefly hung inwards into the passing lane near the 200m and was immediately corrected by its driver.
SEBASTIAN COE - switched to a pace racing into the first bend before breaking losing all chance.
WALKINONSUNSHINE - driver Z Butcher reported the filly had raced greenly throughout.
MATTHEW EYRE - paced away having to be broken up by its driver losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

MADAM RULER - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
CHRISLYNN - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.

AIRPARK LIGHTNING - weakened leaving the final bend.
BEYOND A SHADOW - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the improved performance the connections could only advise that the mare had shown natural improvement from its first start back from a spell and had travelled well throughout.
FRAUD - raced wide throughout. Weakened final bend.
PAT MACH - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Again hung outwards rounding the final bend causing driver M Williamson considerable difficulty.
SECRET COCKTAIL - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Held up early in the run home. Broke near the 150m.
Race 3   MOLLY & JOHN RODGERS MEMORIAL PACE
RUBY MALONE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
RACINGMISSGRACIE - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Weakened near the 800m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
CREED - Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1200m when LETS GET TROPICAL briefly raced wider on the track. After viewing the replays it was established that driver L O'Reilly (CREED) had commenced his outwards movement prior to LETS GET TROPICAL reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.
LETS GET TROPICAL - fractious prior to the start. Had to be steadied near the 1400m after a slight easing of the pace. Raced wide from the 1200m.
DULCINEA - hampered by a weakening runner for a distance passing the 800m.
IZACHEAPEE - raced wide early. Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
KAWACTUS - fractious prior to the start and got its overcheck caught under the sulky shaft which had to be rectified by a Starter's assistant. Raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
VISCOUNT BANNER - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m. Weakened final bend.
RIMU VALLEY - driver A Lethaby admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mrs Lethaby's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 25 November 2022 (4 days).
KALASA - had to be steadied near the 1400m after a slight easing of the pace.
AIRIES GOLD - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CHAMPAGNE NEN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly
GEORGIA FRANCO - hung outwards near the 1400m after a slight easing of the pace which enabled AIRIES GOLD to improve to its inside. Hung inwards near the 600m striking several track markers which were dislodged. Weakened final bend.

PEARL'S A SINGER - hung outwards and raced greenly in the early stages.
IVONA DADIC - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver G Smith.

RUTHLESS LIZZIE - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
KAHNTDOITALONE - compounded near the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
PHOEBE K - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 6   CATES NZ SEED SPECIALISTS MOBILE PACE
ELEPHANTINTHEROOM - paced roughly and broke as the start was effected hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

WATCH THAT MAN - trainer J Howe was issued a warning for presenting WATCH THAT MAN and REBELJUSTFORKICKS late onto the track. Briefly came together with COMMANDER BEN which hung outwards near the 100m.
COMMANDER BEN - hung outwards throughout the run home and briefly came together with WATCH THAT MAN near the 100m.
RAKERO RAIDER - raced wide early and over-raced when being restrained to the rear of the field. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G Smith advised the gelding had paced roughly on various occasions and he would be making gear adjustments prior to the horse resuming.
REBELJUSTFORKICKS - hung inwards when weakening leaving the final bend.
SIR MONTY - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up in the middle stages of the run home and struck several track markers when being steadied. Again held up over the concluding stages. Driver S Thornley was issued a warning for anticipating a run to the inside of ELEPHANTINTHEROOM near the 200m.
JANARTY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer L Hanrahan advised the gelding had been working well and had benefited from the addition of sliding blinds.
SMOKIN GUN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Thornley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

TORVI - trotted roughly rounding the first bend.
SUNNYS SISTER - broke near the 200m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
MISS GRACIE - broke late in the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial prior to resuming. Held up early in the run home.
MAVIS JONES - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Broke near the 300m.
REGAL GIRL - lay inwards throughout the run home.

RUBY'S A DELIGHT - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Continued to be held up in the early stages of the run home. Driver S O'Reilly was warned for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.

REFINE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer J McDermott advised the mare had been working well in preparation for today's race after changes had been made to its shoeing and the mare had also benefited from receiving an economical run throughout.
PURE COURAGE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver K Cameron was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 200m.
TEMPO WARRIOR - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S Ottley advised the gelding had appreciated being able to lead and dictate terms in front.
ULTIMATE BIRD - raced wide early. Held up early in the run home.
NO GEE ESS TEE - the inside number detached from the saddle in the early stages and hung loose during the running. Paced roughly when weakening leaving the final bend.
DAISY DUKE - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1500m.
ELITE STYX - raced wide without cover from the 800m.
ANN MAREE - weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance driver G O'Reilly could offer no explanation and was very disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Trainer S Adlam advised he will have blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
STAR CASINO - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver T Herlihy. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 11   CLEM & RUSSELL BRAND MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
SASSY STAR - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
INSTANT DELIGHT - broke at the start losing all chance.
DD'S SUPER STUART - hampered by a breaking runner in the early stages losing ground.
SALVO - raced four wide from the 700m.
EXCUSE MY FRENCH - trotted roughly in the run home before breaking passing the 100m. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded to the gelding under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the horse had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After hearing evidence from Stewards, trainer T Bagrie and viewing the replays, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest.
UNDER AND OVER - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TEST THE BOUNDARIES - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1400m.
Race 12   GARY McCORMICK TRANSPORT LTD MOBILE PACE
IMAJOLLYWALLY - weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
GLORYS DELIGHT - driver T Williams will be spoken to in the coming days regarding his use of the whip in the run home.
SMOKE ON THE WATER - driver Z Butcher will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner he drove over the concluding stages.
OPAWA LOUIE - out of position at the start. Driver K Cameron was issued a warning.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - out of position at the start. Driver S Ottley was issued a warning.
DANCE WITH THE BOSS - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened from the 900m hampering trailing runners. Driver J Dunn reported he had difficulty steering the gelding throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
HEAT SEEKER - out of position at the start. After taking into account driver S Boyd's recent record in relation to this Rule he was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Briefly locked wheels with STRAIGHT FLUSH rounding the first bend.
TERROR EYES - Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1800m when STRAIGHT FLUSH briefly raced wider on the track.
