Trainer N Williamson advised Stewards on 27 October that GET UP N DANCE has recovered well and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 9 - SOUTHWEST SHEARING/ONE OVER THE MOON MOBILE PACE
Driver B Barclay (XLENDI) admitted a charge of careless driving when shifting ground outwards near the 500m and contacting the sulky wheel of WHERE'S DADDY resulting in the tyre deflating. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.

Race 1   REMEMBERING WARREN FLETCHER HANDICAP TROT
THE POWER BROKER - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again briefly passing the 400m and on a further occasion passing the 300m losing considerable ground. Authorisation of promoted 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking on several occasions.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - trainer K Green was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix mudguards. Broke at the start. Broke again near the 1800m losing all chance.
REWIRI HILL - slow through the early stages. Lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
CHICK MAGNET - fractious prior to the start. Paced near the 1900m for a distance then broke having to be returned to the correct gait by its driver. Stewards lodged a Protest against 4th placing being awarded to this gelding alleging it had broken in excess of 150 metres when breaking after pacing near the 1900m. Connections did not contest the Protest and CHICK MAGNET was disqualified by the Adjudicative Committee.
SPEEDING SPIRIT - driver M Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
KYLE LOCH - trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
Race 2   REMEMBERING RUSSELL MURDOCH MOBILE PACE
TISBURY ROCKS - driver K Green reported she had dropped her whip near the 1800m. Driver K Green was also spoken to advisedly for the manner she drove when using her reins.
TASHS BAD GIRL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver A Kyle reported the mare had lost a racing plate during the running.
TANGIER TANGO - raced wide early.
TAD LINCOLN - weakened from the 500m. Driver T Robertson reported he was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
JABALI - when asked to comment on the improved performance trainer R Hope advised the gelding had been unlucky in recent starts, had been working well in the lead up and received an economical trip today in track conditions that suited.
JAFFIE J - stumbled near the 1800m losing ground. Over-raced in the middle stages.
BLACKJACK ROAD - weakened from the 500m.
Race 3   CRAIG HEYRICK AT HARCOURTS HANDICAP TROT
NIGHT WATCH - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
KING CASSIDY - broke racing into the first bend hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - broke at the start losing all chance.
PEREGRINE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
Race 4   iHIRE INVERCARGILL MOBILE PACE
BAILEYS ART - trainer A Hoffman was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix mudguards.
NGAROMA - held up final bend and the early stages of the run home. Driver A Armour reported he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence. When asked to comment on the improved performance trainer A Paisley advised the gelding had recently recovered from a virus and had been working very well since.
HERITAGE - raced wide early stages. Held up leaving the final bend and the early to middle stages of the run home.
ROBYN X - raced wide from the 750m.
THE MATRIARCH - trainer M Williamson was issued with a warning for presenting this filly with the incorrect number. Briefly locked wheels with ONELOVEONELIFE near the 700m.

Race 5   RIVERSIDE RENTALS MOBILE PACE
SNOW ROBYN - junior driver M Hurrell reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
THE OTHER BROTHER - broke shortly after the start and failed to settle, being retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JENNY GUMP - hung inwards rounding the final bend and made contact with MOP which broke in consequence. Stewards questioned driver J Morrison regarding this incident. Mr Morrison advised that the mare had hung inwards and may have cross fired during the running. A warning was placed on the racing record of JENNY GUMP. Continued to lay inwards throughout the run home.
INSARCHATWIST - trainer R Gutsell was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Raced wide early stages.
MOP - lay out on the bends. Weakened from the 400m. Contacted by JENNY GUMP rounding the final bend and broke near the 350m.
Race 6   CARPET PLUS WILLY'S FLOORING MOBILE PACE
CAPITANO - over-raced in the middle stages.
KERIKERI - lost a shin boot near the 1300m.
BETTER ROBYN - broke briefly in the score-up however was in its allocated barrier position at the dispatch. Over-raced early then broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to complete one trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to resuming.
Race 7   HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER KETT MOBILE PACE
PAY ME SPEEDY - over-raced middle stages.
DOCTOR TIM - trainer M House was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix mudguards. Held up final bend.
Race 8   DARYL BURGESS MASONRY MOBILE PACE
STUNIN STAR - weakened final bend.
CAST A SHADOW - held up final bend.
MAGIC SIGN - weakened over the concluding stages. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up with trainer J Douglas in the coming days.
REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE - raced wide in the early stages.
JACCKA OPA - paced roughly in the early stages. Broke briefly when improving three-wide near the 1500m having to be restrained to the rear of the field. Broke again passing the 700m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any obvious abnormality. Driver B Barclay was spoken to for the manner he drove near the 1800m when restraining the gelding. When asked to comment on the performance Mr Barclay advised that the gelding did not handle today's Slushy track conditions. Trainer B Gray advised he would restrict the gelding's future racing to roomier tracks.
Trainer J Douglas advised Stewards on 11 November that MAGIC SIGN had recovered well since its last start. Mr Douglas added the gelding had worked hard during the running and may be better suited when saved for one run.
ROBYNS SHADOW - Trainer M Williamson advised Stewards on 23 November that the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing.
Connections advised on 1 December 2022 that REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE would be racing in foal.
