Race 1   OAMARU HRC/SOUTHERN HARNESS RACING PACE
A false start was declared when the barrier strand failed to release.
KALASA - broke briefly at the start. Locked wheels momentarily with CHOCO LOU racing into the first bend.
AIRIES GOLD - broke briefly at the start.
CHOCO LOU - locked wheels momentarily with KALASA racing into the first bend. Raced wide in the early stages and was restrained to the rear of the field.
Race 2   ONE AGENCY OAMARU 'THE PROPERTY SPECIALISTS' TROT
LOVE WALKED IN - driver B Hope reported the filly had trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
BRIANNA - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened from the 600m.
KIWI COLT - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
TARUKENGA - weakened from the 600m and broke near the 500m.
OPAWA PEAK - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
CLOVER ROSE - when spoken to regarding the performance driver C DeFilippi advised he was not disappointed after the filly had got back in the running from the unruly position and believed it would derive benefit from the run. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
MATTHEW EYRE - fractious prior to the start and refused to take up its correct position causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
STARLIGHT GAZER - raced wide early. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 3   ONE SMART COFFEE MOBILE PACE
LIGHT UP THE FIRE - held up leaving the final bend.
SMOKE ON THE WATER - over-raced middle stages.
MAJOR ICON - when spoken to regarding the performance junior driver C Dalgety could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MAMMA MIA - lay inwards over the final stages.
BOOT SCOOTIN BOOGIE - broke racing into the first bend checking a trailing runner and losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
FRAUD - checked by a breaking runner on the first bend. Driver R May reported he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds after being checked in the early stages and being a distance from the field.
FOURTH AMENDMENT - raced wide early.
CLASSIC MISSION - held up early in the run home.
UPTOWN FUNK - over-raced early stages. Lay in throughout the run home.

JULIETTE SHARD - over-raced early.
KILLINCHY KID - co-trainers G & J Dunn were issued a warning for presenting the filly with the incorrect saddlecloth number.
THE HIGHLANDER - lay in near the 600m becoming awkwardly placed on the sulky wheel of KILLINCHY KID for a distance.

SONGBIRD - held up leaving the final bend.
JUSTACE - over-raced middle stages. Briefly locked wheels with R K FINN over the concluding stages.
NYLA - junior driver C Dalgety was spoken to and reminded of his obligations to maintain a straight line with his horse in the run home.
PIXIE - forced to race wider leaving the final bend.
TALIESIN - held up leaving the final bend.
THE COBBLER - paced roughly late in the score up. Over-raced middle stages. Forced to race wider leaving the final bend.
R K FINN - briefly locked wheels with JUSTACE over the concluding stages.
