SPEEDING SPIRIT - hampered by a tiring runner rounding the final bend. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
SUPERFASTSUPERSTAR - broke near the 800m losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
VELOCITY JET - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Broke again racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke on a further occasion near the 400m. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
ABACARDI HAZEL - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
AMBRO AMEIGO - raced wide from the 700m. Broke near the 250m hampering a trailing runner.
TWO MENNY MUSCLES - cleared from the Unruly for future standing start engagements.

FULL OF DESIRE - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners and losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
CAST A SHADOW - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of JABALI for a short distance near the 900m.
TEDDY BAKER - broke in the score-up however was in its allocated position at the dispatch.
I'M WATCHING YOU - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
TISBURY ROCKS - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
JABALI - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver A Armour was shown the replays and advised to exercise greater care when attempting to shift a runner inwards near the 900m.
BROOKIES PLAYER - fractious prior to the start. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a high heart rate and signs of an upper respiratory infection. Connections advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
MAGIC SIGN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Held up by a tiring runner near the 500m.
FOXFIRE EASTON - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
Race 3   OLPHERT CONTRACTING LTD HANDICAP TROT
HURRICANE HILL - broke near the 400m losing ground. Trotted roughly near the 250m. Authorisation of 4th placing being awarded was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied this gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking near the 400m.
TWEEDLEDEE - broke passing the 300m.
Trainer A Black advised Stewards on 14th October that WAI KEY WEE has had its hocks treated since last racing.
Race 4   G J GARDNER HOMES/THE THREE WISE MEN MOBILE PACE
HALEY ROBYN - lay out near the 1300m locking wheels with SHERWOOD MAGGIE. Junior driver K Tomlinson reported that the filly had hung outwards at various stages throughout.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - briefly locked wheels with HALEY ROBYN near the 1300m.
DE LA RENTA - held up early in the run home.
JAFFIE J - weakened over the concluding stages.
SWEET TREAT - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Ferguson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MUCHO FUERTE - driver J Douglas was issued with a warning to ensure he starts from the correct position when drawn Unruly.
Race 5   ULTIMATE SNIPER AT ALABAR HANDICAP PACE
The start of this race was delayed at the request of the TAB.
A false start was declared when the 15 metre barrier tape failed to release.
A second false start was declared when the 25 metre barrier tape failed to release.
OWES ME DOUGH - broke at the start losing ground.
GET UP N DANCE - hung outwards on several occasions. Lay inwards through the middle stages of the run home having to be corrected by driver N Williamson.
Race 6   PGG WRIGHTSON LIVESTOCK MOBILE PACE
MAGNETIC TERROR - lay inwards through the early stages of the run home.
ARNIES ARMY - paced roughly shortly after the start.
Race 7   HARAS des TROTTEURS SOUTHLAND TROTTING OAKS (MOB TROT)
SHOOOSH - broke in the score-up inconveniencing NIGHT WATCH and losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
MAJESTIC LOVE - broke shortly after the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
MINNIE MCGOOGAN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Over-raced in the middle stages.
TI AMO BELLE - broke near the 1700m hampering a trailing runner and losing considerable ground.
PYRAMID MYSTIC - hung outwards on several occasions during the running.
HIDDEN TALENT - driver N Williamson was spoken to regarding leaving the passing lane free for trailing runners in future. Trainer N Williamson advised he would be making gear changes prior to the filly racing next.

Race 8   KUBALA SEEDS LTD MOBILE PACE
I SPY - weakened from the 500m. When asked to comment on the performance driver C Ferguson could offer no tangible excuse. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly.
MATADOR - paced roughly racing into the first bend.
VITA VELOCE - over-raced in the middle stages.
JAMES GARNER - late scratching at 9.00am on veterinary advice.
CAPTAIN BLIGH - raced three-wide through the middle stages. When asked to comment on the performance driver B Orange advised that he had difficulty steering the gelding throughout.
