DIAMOND MOUNTED - hung outwards in the early stages and paced roughly. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early and middle stages of the run home. | |
GWYNETH P - over-raced middle stages. Lay outwards leaving the final bend. Junior driver N Delany (assisted by J Stormont) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Delany's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 20 October 2022 (2 days). | |

LUVSA COLD ONE - raced keenly after improving to the lead passing the 1400m. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Butcher advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages with the effort taking its toll. | |
