Driver J Ford (NAVARA) was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 4 - TRACKSIDE DINING AT ADDINGTON PACE
Driver R Cameron (PRETTYBOYCOBY) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner from the 400m. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. PACE
GLIDING HIGH - ran off at the 650m and broke. The connections were advised the gelding must complete two satisfactory trials prior to resuming.
REBOUND - shifted outwards abruptly hampering THE ELITE ATHLETE near the 250m. Driver R Close admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Close's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 14 August 2022 (4 days).
PURE COURAGE - hung outwards at various stages throughout. Lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Driver K Cameron was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home in future.
ROCKIN TO THE DAWN - paced roughly near the 2100m. Again paced roughly when weakening rounding the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T Barron advised the mare will be freshened prior to resuming.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - raced wide without cover from the 700m. Hampered near the 250m when REBOUND shifted outwards.
Race 2   GARRARDS PACE
MAJOR MEMPHIS - began awkwardly. Over-raced middle stages.
LET'S GO RINGO - broke briefly at the start.
MOODY RIVER - fractious prior to the start and was out of position. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ITZ MAGICAL MEG - hampered by a breaking runner after 100m.
SOUTHERLY CHANGE - broke after 100m hampering trailing runners and losing ground.
YANKEE JAY - hampered by a breaking runner after 100m.

GOTTA TICKET - broke briefly at the start and again shortly after. Broke again near the 2000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BOURBON ON THE ROCKS - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages. Driver J Versteeg was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ZSAHARA - placed in restricted room on the final bend when KOHLI TROUBLE lay inwards.
GINAS MAJESTY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 2200m. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
SLAINTE - broke when weakening near the 500m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of muscle tie up. Trainer O Adlam advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - broke and shifted in abruptly near the 2200m hampering trailing runners and losing all chance.
WYNBERG WATCH - raced wide early. Placed in restricted room and struck track markers on the final bend when KOHLI TROUBLE lay inwards.

TERROR EYES - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Orange. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WATCH ME - broke shortly after the start checking a trailing runner. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial prior to resuming.
VINCENT VEGA - hampered near the 1000m before being checked and locking wheels with PEMBROOK'S PRINCESS near the 700m.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - hampered near the 1000m before being checked near the 700m. Driver W House reported he dropped his whip near the 700m.
PEMBROOK'S PRINCESS - hung outwards and paced roughly near the 1200m and then continued to hang outwards for a distance checking trailing runners near the 700m and locking wheels with VINCENT VEGA. Stood down to trial to Stewards satisfaction on one occasion prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TROUBLE SUPREME - trainer M Heenan was warned for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with an anti-choke device instead of the notified cornell collar.
OLIVIA'S STAR - hung inwards and struck track markers when weakening on the final bend.
SHEZA MANIPULATOR - hampered near the 1000m before being checked near the 700m.
PRETTYBOYCOBY - checked by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 5   SPECTATORS BAR MOBILE PACE
BETTORLINI - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
MAREN FRANCO - raced wide early.

SHANIKA - raced greenly when being forced wider near the 600m.

SERIOUS MOONLITE - weakened near the 600m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
CHEEZEL - raced wide early.
SMIFFY'S TERROR - raced wide early before improving to sit parked near the 1600m. Driver J Dunn reported the removable deafeners and sliding blinds were not activated due to having the field covered.
EVANGALIST - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
CLASSY DANCER - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
KHAL DROGO - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Dalgety. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

MC SQUARED - broke at the start.
IT'S SO EASY - broke at the start losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly in the run home. Driver M Williamson reported the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
MADELEINE STOWE - broke after 200m hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. Driver R Holmes reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre racing into the first bend.
RACEY KRUSA - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
THE BLOSS - held up early in the run home.
MAJESTIC ROLLON - broke near the 2100m losing all chance.

ROCK'N KIWI - paced roughly shortly after the start. Raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
TALIESIN - late scratching at 8.50am on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
SONGBIRD - hung inwards and struck track markers on the final bend.
LIZZIE RICHTER - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 9   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS WINTER REWARDS MOBILE PACE
JORDY - broke in the score up however recovered to be in position at the start.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
KING ARTHUR - broke late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
VICTOR BRAVO - when questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised the gelding had worked hard through the middle stages when improving wide on the track with the effort taking its toll over the concluding stages.
ROCKNROLL DIVA - hampered late in the score up.
OLIVE COOK - hampered late in the score up.
SONIC REIGN - over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. Returned to the stabling enclosure with blood present in both nostrils. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed that the gelding had bled. Stood down for the mandatory period of 30 days with connections advised a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination prior to a satisfactory trial would be required before the gelding resumes racing.
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 1 August that ROCKNROLL DIVA is now spelling after showing signs of muscle tie-up after its recent race.
