KAHNTDOITALONE - out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced four wide from the 600m.
HEAVENLY STRINGS - weakened near the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
NAVARA - driver J Ford will be spoken to in the coming days regarding his use of the whip in the run home.
RUBY SEDDON - held up until late in the run home. Driver J Cox advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly in the run home and could not be fully driven out by driver J Dunn.
MIXED FAITH - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Again trotted roughly in the run home.
THE FIERY SPIRIT - held up final bend. Trotted roughly before breaking near the 150m. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

TIDE AND TIME - over-raced throughout.
SOPHIA BROMAC - weakened leaving the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Trainer M Smolenski advised he would be having blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
THE TERRORFIER - held up final bend.
TIGER TAYLOR - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer D Taylor advised the mare had been racing without luck in its recent starts and had benefited from having an economical run.
SWELL TIME - driver S Ottley was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion leaving the final bend.
NIKOL FRANCO - late scratching at 9am on Veterinary advice.
MOTOR MOUTH - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - paced roughly through the early stages losing ground. Raced wide without cover from the 900m.
Race 3   HARNESS RACING UNHINGED ON FACEBOOK TROT
CAEN - slow to begin.
ANTONOV - over-raced middle stages. Driver G Smith was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
PAIGE - broke on the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
THE FIERY COUNTESS - hung inwards over the concluding stages causing driver A Clark difficulty.
ITS INDI - broke at the start and again after 150m losing all chance.
THE RIVER BOY - weakened from the 400m. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had been unsuited to racing parked.
LUCINDA HEST - broke after 100m losing all chance. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand prior to resuming.
WITH GRACE - slow to begin. Broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CIRCUS CIRCUS - trotted roughly through the early stages. Broke near the 1500m and cast a bell boot losing all chance.
Race 4   TRACKSIDE DINING AT ADDINGTON PACE
BETTERTHANDIVA - broke at the start losing ground. Driver B Butt defended a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging he had used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Butt the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Butt's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 24 July up to and including 7 August 2022 (4 days).
SPORTS BABE - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver J Dunn reported the removable deafeners and sliding blinds were not activated in consequence.
ROCKETMAN - driver B Weaver admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.

DULCINEA - paced roughly through the early stages.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - broke at the start losing ground. Junior driver C Hackett (assisted by R Close) was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home.
PRETTYBOYCOBY - driver R Cameron will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
FLORAS DIAMOND DEAL - driver R Houghton advised he elected not to activate the hopple shorteners due to the filly pacing roughly.
Driver R Cameron (PRETTYBOYCOBY) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner from the 400m. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
Race 5   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE
MISSMOLLYGOODGOLLY - held up over the concluding stages.
OLIVE COOK - raced wide early.
SOVIET STAR - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised the gelding had been unable to make ground due to the fast closing sectionals.
WHERE'S DADDY - raced wide early.
SWEET BELLE - driver S O'Reilly was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW HANDICAP TROT
RESOLVE - tangled away. Held up final bend.
MISS CRAZED - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
TWEEDLEDEE - began awkwardly.
ENGHIEN - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Raced wide without cover from the 700m.
Race 7   LEADING HR & IMMIGRATION MOBILE PACE
EASTWOOD DREAM - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ALTA DEBONAIR - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Upon returning to the stabling area the colt collapsed and was immediately attended to by the on course Veterinarian however was found to be deceased and was transported from the course by the Horse Ambulance. A post mortem will be conducted in the coming days.
CHRISLYNN - driver B Orange was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
JAMES CAGNEY - paced roughly after 200m after contacting the sulky wheel of TEMPO WARRIOR which hung outwards. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G Smith advised the gelding had over-raced in the early stages and after the horse had failed to settle he elected to challenge for the lead passing the 1400m. Mr Smith added that after he had been unsuccessful in his attempt to lead the horse had continued to over-race before weakening. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with Mr Smith in the coming days. Mr Smith admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion passing the 1400m. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
MAN UNITED - late scratching at 11.30am on Veterinary advice.
MAMMA MIA - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Trainer G Smith advised Stewards on 17 August that JAMES CAGNEY has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 8   STEEL & TUBE- HURRICANE MOBILE PACE
FRANCO HOFFMAN - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Held up leaving the final bend.
KRUIZR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Curtin. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOGUL - weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 9   DARREN DEFILIPPI MEMORIAL JUNIOR DRIVERS HANDICAP TROT
MADELEINE STOWE - driver C Hackett reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
LA REINA DEL SUR - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m.
TAKE AFTER ME - trotted roughly final bend when held up.
PRINCE TEKA - hampered by a breaking runner after 100m.
HARRY POTTER - hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m. Trotted roughly throughout the run home.
CLYDE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
MAJESTIC JAG - hampered and broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 200m.
SHOW ME THE GRAY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m. Driver K Tomlinson was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ROYAL PRIDE - pre-race warmed. Broke passing the 450m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the horse.
JIMMY CARTER - broke at the start losing all chance and was retired from the race.

WITH GRACE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after racing earlier in the programme and was cleared to start. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S O'Reilly. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
PAYTONS ROCK - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Crowded rounding the first bend.
ROCK N DIAMONDS - over-raced middle stages.
PETRIFY - hung inwards at various stages.
THE COALMAN - over-raced middle stages.
OBSESSION - shifted down the track in the run home when under pressure. Driver T Williams was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MAJOR GNP - raced wide early. Lay inwards rounding the first bend crowding an inside runner.
Race 11   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
HONOUR SCROLL - attempted to duck under the mobile barrier arm in the score up before being out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver G Thornley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up final bend.
IT'S ME - crowded racing into the first bend contacting several track markers. Weakened passing the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CHANGEAROUND - driver S O'Reilly was warned for the manner she drove racing into the first bend when crowding an inside runner. Locked sulky stays with FRANCO STEFAN near the 600m. Weakened final bend.
TOMMYSONAROLL - hung outwards from the 800m despite the efforts of driver R Close and ran off near the 600m hampering an outside runner. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
FRANCO STEFAN - locked sulky stays with CHANGEAROUND near the 600m.
JUDGEMENT BAY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1200m. Commenced to over-race from the 1100m. Hampered near the 600m before weakening shortly after. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of muscle tie up.
TASMAN TEMPEST - raced wide early.
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 28 July that TOMMYSONAROLL has had its hocks treated since last racing.
