Race 1   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
BOBBY WATERHOUSE - a false start was declared when the horse got its head positioned underneath the mobile barrier arm in the score up. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Underwent and passed a veterinary examination prior to the re-start. Driver K Butt elected to remain in her allocated barrier position. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m. Driver K Butt reported she dropped her whip near the 700m.
EASTWOOD DREAM - hung inwards and raced greenly shortly after the start having to be steadied. Raced wide without cover from the 1400m. Again raced greenly in the run home when weakening.
MATADOR - raced wide with cover from the 1200m.
MR LINCOLN - hung outwards on several occasions during the running. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
TAKE A HIKE - trainer F Scott was issued a warning for failing to affix mudguards to his sulky. Held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.
LIZZIE RICHTER - held up early in the run home.

WATCH ME - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened leaving the final bend.
KEEPING WATCHING - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced early and middle stages. Weakened on the final bend.
MILLWOOD MELODY - driver T Williams was issued a warning for being late to arrive at the start area.
DANCING DESIRE - driver B Orange reported he elected not to activate the hopple shorteners due to the filly pacing fluently compared to its last start when breaking near the 400m.
BETTERTHANDIVA - driver B Butt was issued a warning for being late to arrive at the start area.
SPARK IT UP - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Paced roughly and broke again near the 350m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.

Race 3   ISAAC CONSTRUCTION TROT
MC SQUARED - broke leaving the final bend. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 100m. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
SLAINTE - broke leaving the final bend when leading.
HEAVENLY STRINGS - late scratching at 10.25am on veterinary advice.
MUSCLYNN - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke again near the 400m. Co-trainer/driver P Wakelin reported the mare had trotted roughly on the bends and she would be considering making alterations to the mare's shoeing.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - broke at the start losing all chance.
GINAS MAJESTY - broke briefly at the start. Trotted roughly on the final bend and again over the concluding stages.
THE PRESENT MAKER - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Weakened near the 600m.
Race 4   HIRE KING MOBILE PACE
ITZ MAGICAL MEG - trainer S Adlam was issued a warning for failing to affix mudguards to his sulky. Broke late in the score up checking a trailing runner with a hopple breaking in the early stages and was retired from the race. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MORRISSEY - contacted track markers on the final bend. Driver G O'Reilly was warned to make a better effort to avoid making contact with track markers.
AJIRA - over-raced middle stages when attempting to restrain to obtain cover.
JORDY - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had been unsuited to racing parked.
JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE - a protest was lodged under Rule 869A(2) against 2nd placing being awarded to JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE (R May) by the connections of HEAVEN ON HIGH (B Hope) placed 4th, alleging interference on the final bend after JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE raced greenly when shifting wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE was relegated to 4th placing. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
HEAVEN ON HIGH - broke on the final bend losing ground when JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE shifted outwards. Promoted to 3rd placing.
PRESS PLAY - slow to leave the pre-race formation. Checked late in the score up and broke losing ground. Paced roughly at various stages throughout. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
Race 5   CONNETICS MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed three minutes due to the protest in the previous race.
THE TERRORFIER - weakened final bend.
HAPPY PLACE - held up final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home. Driver B Butt was warned for anticipating a run early in the run home resulting in his runner being placed in restricted room.
SWEET BELLE - lay in on the final bend placing inside runner in restricted room.
J R BROMAC - lay inwards rounding the final bend contacting track markers. Held up leaving the final bend.
JAZELLE - weakened leaving the final bend.
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide middle stages when attempting to improve. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn was at a loss to explain the performance and was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. The connections advised they would have blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
DENNIS DENUTO - the required veterinary clearance was received. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened near the 600m.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 17 July that blood tests taken from ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE revealed no abnormalities and that the gelding had recovered well from its last race.
Race 6   ZEAL HANDICAP TROT
BRIGHT GLOW - over-raced middle stages.
MAUI - trainer D McCormick was issued a warning for failing to affix mudguards to his sulky.
PRINCE TEKA - began awkwardly.
MAJESTIC JAG - trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out.
TWEEDLEDEE - broke at the 2200m losing ground.
MY MOMENT'S NOW - briefly hampered near the 2200m by a breaking runner.
Race 7   CITYCARE PROPERTY MOBILE PACE
SHANIKA - broke early in the score up however was in position at the start.
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - lay outwards and paced roughly after 150m having to be steadied.
Race 8   BAINBRIDGE HANDICAP TROT
MADELEINE STOWE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m.
CODY BANNER - broke near the 600m hampering trailing runners. Broke again near the 250m. Trotted roughly in the run home.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke shortly after the start. Lay inwards leaving the final bend and briefly locked wheels with LISTEN EASY. Held up early in the run home. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
NAVARA - broke near the 2100m losing ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver J Ford was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home.
TAKE AFTER ME - trotted roughly on the final bend losing ground.
MAJESTIC ROLLON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m. Broke near the 400m losing all chance.
HARRY POTTER - trainer L Jones was warned for not having the correct colours available.
ROYAL PRIDE - pre-raced warmed. Driver S Thornley reported the entire had cast the off hind shoe near the 2000m.
KING OF LOVE - broke near the 1400m losing all chance.
LISTEN EASY - over-raced middle stages. Briefly locked wheels with MAKE MY SUNDON which lay inwards leaving the final bend.
Race 9   CITYCARE WATER PACE
PETRIFY - hung inwards near the 900m striking a track marker which was dislodged. Held up leaving the final bend. Lay outwards throughout the run home when attempting to utilise the passing lane.
APATCHOFGOLD - hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m. Held up late in the run home.
MEGAROCK - held up leaving the final bend. Driver G O'Reilly admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly leaving the final bend when he allowed his runner to contact the sulky wheel of TAS GIRL BROMAC which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr O'Reilly's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 July up to and including 22 July 2022 (3 days).
THE COALMAN - broke at the start losing ground.
MARK DUNNETT - broke near the 350m after being checked by an inside runner losing all chance with trailing runners being hampered. Locked wheels with the breaking STAR MAGIC near the 250m.
YANKEE JAY - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
TIGER TAYLOR - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m. Held up throughout the run home. Driver J Morrison reported the removable deafeners had not been activated in consequence.
WOLFENSTEIN - held up final bend. Crowded late in the run home. The near front hopple carrier broke near the 300m with this gear being inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Driver M Williamson defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that he drove carelessly when shifting outwards abruptly near the 350m resulting in MARK DUNNETT being checked and breaking with trailing runners being hampered. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Williamson the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 17 July 2022 (2 days).
STAR MAGIC - broke near the 250m and shifted outwards locking wheels with MARK DUNNETT. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ON REPORT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
TAS GIRL BROMAC - raced wide early. Weakened leaving the final bend. Driver B Orange reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre on the final bend.
GRINNING AGAIN - briefly locked wheels with SWAGGER MAN at the start. Hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend and struck several track markers.
SWAGGER MAN - briefly locked wheels with GRINNING AGAIN at the start. Over-raced passing the 1400m and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of THE COALMAN. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
GET OUTTA TOWN - weakened final bend.
IT'S ME - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
MAJOR GNP - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
CAB CALLOWAY - held up final bend.
TASMAN TEMPEST - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver W House advised the horse had been unlucky in recent starts and had been performing better than its form suggested.
Trainer D Mitchell advised Stewards on 2 August that ASIAN ELVIS has had its hocks treated since last racing.
