5t12LM7yJFk The start was delayed after SUPERFASTSUPERSTAR contacted the barrier strand resulting in the field being turned away to reassemble. Junior driver D Anderson (assisted by B Barclay) admitted a charge that he had delayed the start when breaching the barrier strand prior to the start being effected. After viewing replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicator imposed a fine of $200.
CHEEKY MONKEY - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
THE POWER BROKER - stood on the mark then swung sideways making contact with the sulky of TEASE MY TARTAN. Broke after 100m. Broke again racing into the first bend losing all chance.
TEASE MY TARTAN - briefly hampered at the start by an inside runner. Briefly locked sulky wheels with THE BRONX BOMBER near the 500m.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - trotted roughly through the early stages losing ground. Broke near the 1400m and again on several other occasions losing all chance.
HARLEEN QUINZEL - broke at the start losing all chance.
ARLO MAGUIRE - reared prior to the restart before facing sideways as the start was effected. Broke at the start losing all chance. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. In taking this course of action Stewards took into consideration that ARLO MAGUIRE had become agitated following the false start.
THE BRONX BOMBER - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Lay inwards near the 500m briefly locking sulky wheels with TEASE MY TARTAN. Driver T Robertson admitted a charge that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicator imposed a fine of $200.
ANTEROS - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
KYLE LOCH - broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
PHOEBE AMORE - trainer R Cleaver was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Weakened from the 900m. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.

KNIGHT SKY - checked racing into the first bend and broke in consequence losing all chance with the filly being retired from the race.
ELOUISA DALE - driver K Green admitted a charge that she drove carelessly when crossing to the lead racing into the first bend when not sufficiently clear of KNIGHT SKY which broke in consequence with trailing runners being checked to varying degrees. This matter was adjourned until prior to racing at Forbury Park TC on 7 July 2022.
SIMPLY DELIGHTFULL - trainer I Goodman was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Checked by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
CHOGI - trainer K Green was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Shifted down the track abruptly over the concluding stages having to be steadied.
Driver K Green (ELOUISA DALE) admitted a charge that she drove carelessly when crossing to the lead racing into the first bend when not sufficiently clear of KNIGHT SKY which broke in consequence with trailing runners being checked to varying degrees. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicator suspended K Green's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing on 7 July up to and including 25 August 2022 (4 days).

GIFT CARD - trainer J Campbell was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Broke near 1800m hampering a trailing runner. Authorisation of 1st placing being awarded was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
PAT THE MONKEY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Weakened from the 500m.
MAD JACK - broke near the 1800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SOUTH PARK - broke shortly after the start. Broke again near the 1500m losing all chance.
TWO MENNY MUSCLES - stood on the mark losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
OUR PINOCCHIO - broke shortly after the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

Following the running of this race the official track conditions were downgraded to Slushy.

NEED A CHANGE - broke near the 1800m checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Raced greenly and shifted wider on the track near the 1300m when THREE ACES improved outwards from its inside. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out rule where, after viewing the replays it was established that THREE ACES had commenced its outwards movement prior to NEED A CHANGE reaching its sulky wheel with no further action required.
MAXWELL ROBYN - checked by a breaking runner near the 1800m and broke in consequence losing ground.
THREE ACES - checked by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Driver P Devery admitted a charge that he drove carelessly near the 1250m when striking the sulky wheel of SPIRIT OF ARION resulting in the tyre deflating. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicator imposed a fine of $250.
SPIRIT OF ARION - checked by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1250m.

I'M TROUBLE - checked by a breaking runner near the 300m.
PERCY - held up on the final bend and early in the run home.
BEEZ NEEZ - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. Briefly hampered near the 800m. Held up on the final bend and early in the run home. Again paced roughly near the 100m.
BOARDING CALL - over-raced when racing in the parked position through the middle stages causing junior driver K Tomlinson considerable difficulty.

MUCHO MACHO MAN - paced roughly on various occasions during the running. When asked to comment on the performance which was below market expectations driver S Tomlinson advised the gelding had felt lethargic throughout.
REDNECK WOMAN - trainer B McIntyre was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Paced roughly racing into the first bend.
MACANDREW NAVIGATOR - raced wide early.
EVERYWHERE - the required veterinary clearance was received. Raced wide early.
ART LINCOLN - held up early in the run home.
R K FINN - over-raced in the middle stages.
ONEDIN HURRICANE - lay inwards leaving the final bend striking track markers. Driver B Barclay was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SAGWITCH - trainer S Breen was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Lay inwards on various occasions during the running. Lost contact with the field from the 600m. When asked to comment on the performance junior driver S O'Reilly advised she had difficulty steering the gelding throughout.
