Race 1   LIVAMOL NZ AMATEUR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
SHARP LOU - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. Driver S Murtha was issued a warning.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - over-raced middle stages. Driver C Sharpe admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
SHEEZA PURLA - broke briefly shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver B Wilmott was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the run home.
HONOUR SCROLL - hampered when TANE J J and DONEGAL CARNBOUY locked wheels near the 400m.
TANE J J - over-raced early stages. Lay inwards and locked wheels with the weakening DONEGAL CARNBOUY near the 500m with both runners losing their chance.
MAXIMILIAN - over-raced middle stages when leading. Driver C Wigg reported the gelding had been striking its sulky wheels during the running.
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - raced wide early. Weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners and locked wheels with TANE J J for a distance near the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DISMARA - lay inwards and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of MAXIMILIAN near the 100m having to be steadied. Driver M Northcott was warned for using her whip free of the rein in the run home.
PHONE TAP - hampered in the score up and was out of position at the start.

SEE IT THRU - trotted roughly early stages.
BUTCHER KATE - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
THE FIERY COUNTESS - slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. Driver A Clark was issued a warning.
WITH GRACE - trotted roughly in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Smolenski. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Continued to trot roughly throughout.
KIWI HEIR - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened final bend.
MATTHEW EYRE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance.
Race 3   XCM SPORT NZ AMATEUR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 4 MOBILE PACE
BETTERWITHBLING - broke in the score up however recovered to be in position at the start. Driver F Phelan was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. Trainer J Wederell advised the gelding will now be sent for a spell.
GLITZ AND GLAM - over-raced middle stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
R K FINN - driver J Buckland-Stevens reported the boring pole came adrift during the running. This gear was inspected with the trainer deemed not to be at fault.
BOLZANO - broke after 200m hampering trailing runners.
ALEXY - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
SWEET AND SOUR - driver A Fitzgerald reported the near side hopple shortener failed to release after the cord broke. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Mr Fitzgerald admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
THE HORNET - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
HES SANTAS EXCUSE - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m. Broke near the 60m.
SISTER'S DELIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m. Over-raced early and middle stages.
SONNY VISTA - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 4   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE TROT
GAYTANA - held up final bend. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
ALBIZIA - late scratching at 9.30am on veterinary advice.
LIL MISS MUSCLES - held up final bend.
MIXED FAITH - lay inwards and trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
NIGHT WATCH - driver K Tomlinson reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 500m.
SILVERLININGS - driver J Dunn admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 500m when he struck the sulky wheel of NIGHT WATCH which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
Race 5   SILVERMOON JEWELLERS LADIES' NIGHT- 8 JULY F&M MOBILE PACE
STRAWB'S CLASS ACT - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened from the 600m. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the request of the connections.
IDEAL GRACE - weakened final bend.
FINDERS KEEPERS - paced roughly throughout the run home and broke just prior to the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to the filly under Rule 870(5) alleging the filly was lapped on at the finish by SPARK IT UP. The connections did not contest the protest and after viewing the replays FINDERS KEEPERS was relegated to 5th placing by the Adjudicative Committee.
AIRPARK LIGHTNING - hung inwards on various occasions during the running. Weakened final bend.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW NZ AMATEUR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 5 MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed for one minute at the request of the TAB.
OLIVE COOK - weakened final bend. Driver A Fitzgerald reported the mare had over-raced through the middle stages.
HOPEING FOR GLORY - over-raced middle stages. Lay outwards on the final bend when weakening hampering a trailing runner.
THE TERRORFIER - hampered by a weakening runner on the final bend.
BOARDING CALL - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 7   RENWICK FARMS HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared after the 10m barrier strand failed to clear all runners.
POCKET CALL - when questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Purvis advised he would have the horse examined in the coming days and undertook to notify the findings to Stewards.
SOPHIA BROMAC - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the mare had worked too hard in the early stages which had taken its toll.
THE BLACK SHADOW - over-raced middle stages. Cast the off fore shoe near the 1500m. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer S Harding advised at its most recent start the gelding had broken however he was satisfied with the sectionals in that race after breaking early. Mr Harding added the gelding had been working well and he was not surprised with the performance.
RAKE - raced wide from the 1400m.
TAS GIRL BROMAC - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after making heavy contact with the sulky of WILL HE ROCK prior to a false start being declared and was cleared to race.
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 1 July that POCKET CALL has recovered well from its last start and he had made changes to the gelding's training regime by increasing its workload.
Race 8   NZB STANDRADBRED MOBILE PACE
JANARTY - hung inwards throughout the run home causing driver J Dunn difficulty.
KNOCKSHANBALLY - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
ADHIKA - hung inwards racing around the bends. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
TROUBLE SUPREME - held up early stages of the run home. Lay inwards over the concluding stages.
VIOLET KNIGHT - lay inwards in the run home.
Race 9   FAHEY FENCE HIRE HANDICAP TROT
PAT THE MONKEY - hung inwards final bend striking track markers.
GINAS MAJESTY - slow to begin. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
SOUTH PARK - broke briefly at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke near the 350m.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
RACEY KRUSA - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.

ROCK N DIAMONDS - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FULL OF DESIRE - broke after 150m.
