Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 21 June that NO GEE ESS TEE has been treated for a respiratory infection since last racing.
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 21 June that a veterinary examination following the race meeting revealed TWILIGHT BROMAC had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG.

KILLARNEY DANCE - hung inwards early in the run home and briefly shifted into the passing lane before being corrected by driver S Ottley.
DANCING DESIRE - raced roughly and then broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
MEET ME AT THE BEACH - slow to leave the pre-race circle however was in position at the start.
SKITTLE BOMB - broke briefly as the start was effected. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Hung outwards rounding the final bend.
HIT THE BEACH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Driver C DeFilippi advised he received a punctured sulky tyre in this incident.
JANARTY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Held up throughout the run home.
WOODLEA JEWEL - eased down over the concluding stages. When questioned, both driver K Cox and trainer T Twidle were unable to provide any explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Trainer T Twidle advised Stewards on 29 June that WOODLEA JEWEL will be sent for a lengthy spell.
Race 2   SPECTATORS BAR TROT
PAIGE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Trotted roughly at various stages during the running.
THE RIVER BOY - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the connections.
DHONI TROUBLE - broke after 150m losing all chance.
MAGNITUDE - trotted roughly early before breaking after 200m losing all chance.
EMILY - began awkwardly. Trotted roughly in the run home.
SASSY STAR - trainer B White was issued a warning for being late to notify the filly would be racing without blinds. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Trotted roughly in the run home.
MC SQUARED - weakened final bend.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - broke after 100m losing all chance.
BLITHE - trotted roughly over the early stages.
LUCINDA HEST - broke after 100m losing all chance.

PRIMA DONNA - hung inwards leaving the final bend and in the run home when utilising the passing lane.
TIDE AND TIME - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver K Cox advised the gelding had over-raced throughout with the effort taking its toll. Ms Cox added she expected the horse would take considerable benefit from the race after having its first start back from a spell.
DAVID NIVEN - driver R Close was reminded of his obligations when coming to the starting gate out of position early in the score up.
BRI EXPRESS - raced wide early.
AJIRA - raced wide early. Junior driver C Dalgety was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE - paced roughly racing into the first bend. Hung inwards in the middle stages of the run home. Driver T Chmiel was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MAJOR GNP - held up early in the run home.
Race 4   AVON CITY FORD HANDICAP TROT
MAUI - lay inwards over the concluding stages crowding ROYAL PRIDE which raced inside the final track marker.
KING OF LOVE - held up middle stages of the run home.
ROYAL PRIDE - broke near the 400m losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the entire. Struck several track markers inside the final 100m and was then crowded just short of the winning post and raced inside the final track marker. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied firstly that the horse had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking near the 400m and secondly that no advantage had been gained when striking markers inside the final 100m and that the horse had raced inside the final track marker as a result of suffering interference. Junior driver S Thornley was warned to make a better effort to avoid contacting track markers prior to being crowded.
HARRY POTTER - trotted roughly through the early stages. Broke near the 950m losing ground.
SAMANTHAS MOON - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
RESOLVE - tangled away.
PRINCE TEKA - raced wide early stages.
SHOW ME THE GRAY - held up final bend and early in the run home.
LAURIES LEGACY - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 5   SILVERMOON JEWELLERS LADIES' NIGHT- 8 JULY F&M MOBILE PACE
MITSI GAYNOR - lay inwards on the final bend striking track markers.
BIZZIE LOU - held up early in the run home.
SWELL TIME - held up throughout the run home.
KIKORANGI BLUE - lay inwards when driver B Butt activated the removable gear near the 350m striking track markers. Despite this Mr Butt was issued with a warning to make a better effort to avoid making contact with track markers.
SWEET BELLE - raced wide early.
DEJA BLUE - raced wide early. Locked wheels with KOWHAI SHADOW which lay inwards near the 300m. Driver T Chmiel reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
KOWHAI SHADOW - lay inwards and locked wheels with DEJA BLUE near the 300m.
BRAEVIEW KELLY - forced to race four wide from the 700m.
CLASSY DANCER - held up until late in the run home.
MAREN FRANCO - held up throughout the run home. Driver L O'Reilly advised the sliding blinds were not activated in consequence.
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - held up early in the run home. Junior driver W House was reminded of his obligations when coming to the starting gate out of position early in the score up.
Race 6   XCM SPORT NZ AMATEUR DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
PHONE TAP - weakened final bend. Driver J Buckland-Stevens reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre after the start and again leaving the final bend.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Driver J Brownlee admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground after the start and contacted the outside sulky wheel of PHONE TAP which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. Mr Brownlee admitted a further charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that when attempting to shift into the passing lane after being held up he struck and punctured the inside sulky wheel of PHONE TAP. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Brownlee's Amateur Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 26 June up to and including 5 August 2022 (6 weeks).
TANE J J - held up middle stages of the run home.
TOMMYSONAROLL - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Purvis advised the gelding had been working and trialing well leading up to tonight's race and had been suited by the tempo of the race.
SONGBIRD - driver C Wigg admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip free of the rein and with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
ITZ TO THE MACS - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
GLITZ AND GLAM - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
ALEXY - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m. Driver C Sharpe will be spoken to in the coming days regarding his use of the whip when out of contention.
GET OUTTA TOWN - raced greenly passing the 1200m when attempting to improve to the lead. Weakened final bend.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - contacted the sulky wheel of SONGBIRD and broke after 150m losing ground hampering trailing runners. Driver A Fitzgerald admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident and after viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1100m. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Driver C Sharpe (ALEXY) was warned for the manner in which he used his whip when out of contention.
Race 7   WOODLANDS STUD TROT
JAKARTA - driver A Lethaby was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
DOCTOR LAVROS - broke near the 400m losing all chance.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly in the middle stages of the run home.
SUNNY SON - broke at the start losing all chance.
KAHNTDOITALONE - broke at the start losing ground.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - broke at the start losing all chance.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - checked and broke at the start. Held up final bend.
GOTTA TICKET - shifted inwards at the start crowding MAJESTIC WHISPER which broke. Weakened final bend.

MR LINCOLN - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
PRETTYBOYCOBY - held up final bend by a weakening runner. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
JOHNNY ROTTEN - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Held up final bend by a weakening runner.
MOVE IT ON OVER - over-raced near the 1600m. Driver T Williams advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheel discs.
NADIRA FRANCO - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Raced wide from the 900m.
ADHIKA - hung inwards on the bends causing driver J Morrison considerable difficulty. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Mr Morrison advised he would be recommending gear changes prior to the horse racing on Sunday.
Trainer A Stuart advised Stewards on 29 June that JOHNNY ROTTEN has been sent for a spell.
Race 9   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
KRUIZR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Curtin. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SOUNDSOFCASH - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 10   PAUL RENWICK JOINERY HANDICAP TROT
COCHY MALC - weakened final bend.
MY MOMENT'S NOW - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
SPRINGBANK MASON - trotted roughly through the middle stages losing ground. Again trotted roughly passing the 800m losing ground. Broke near the 350m. When questioned, driver M Williamson could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
REPEAT PAT - broke briefly shortly after the start. Shifted up the the track in the run home. Driver G Smith reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 300m. Driver G Smith was warned to ensure he maintains a straight course in the run home. Mr Smith advised he would be recommending gear changes.
ONLY ONE WAY - broke after 150m losing all chance.
KAHRESS - driver C Butt admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300m when shifting ground outwards and contacting the sulky wheel of REPEAT PAT which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
MISS CRAZED - driver B Williamson was warned for the manner in which he drove when crowding an inside runner racing into the first bend.
WITH ICE - trotted roughly leaving the final bend and in the run home.
TWEEDLEDEE - crowded racing into the first bend by an outside runner striking track markers.
Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 1 July that SPRINGBANK MASON has been treated by a chiropractor and had its hocks treated since last racing.
Race 11   ALABAR MOBILE PACE
IT'S ME - forced wider on the track by CAB CALLOWAY near the 800m and paced roughly after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of that runner when contesting a position resulting in U R THE ONE and ULTIMATE BIRD having to be steadied. Junior driver S Thornley was warned for the manner he drove at this stage of the race when attempting to maintain his position when not entitled to.
HILDA MAUD - paced roughly when racing wide in the early stages.
SHARP LOU - over-raced when wide on the track in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
PAYTONS ROCK - raced wide early. Held up final bend.
CAB CALLOWAY - held up early in the run home.
GET BACK - held up early in the run home.
Race 12   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
SCARED STIFF - driver T Chmiel admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b) and (c) after he shifted outwards near the 1020m forcing LUMINITE to race wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
EMMY - held up early in the run home.
THE COALMAN - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S Ottley advised the gelding had received no luck in recent starts and she was not surprised after benefiting from a favourable draw tonight.
MARSHMELLOW MILLIE - raced wide early and middle stages.
LUMINITE - raced wide early. Forced wider on the track near the 1020m when SCARED STIFF shifted outwards.
FRANCO STEFAN - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ARDEN'S SWEETHEART - held up throughout the run home. Driver T Williams advised he did not activate the sliding blinds in consequence.
TASMAN TEMPEST - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver W House advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
