Race 1   REGENT, PROUDLY SPONSORING THE STAGS TROT
CAEN - trotted roughly throughout the run home with driver B Williamson reporting he was unable to drive the gelding out as a consequence.
CHEEKY MONKEY - tangled away. Broke rounding the first bend. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend and broke in consequence.
SUPERFASTSUPERSTAR - broke rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner. Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages.
HIDDEN TALENT - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
KYLE LOCH - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Lay inwards near the 100m contacting the sulky wheel of THE BRONX BOMBER and broke in consequence.
ANDOVER THE KEYS - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
PHOEBE AMORE - weakened from the 800m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
Race 2   CRAIG HEYRICK AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
NEMO BANDEIRA - held up on the final bend.
HUNTING WEIGHT - raced wide through the early and middle stages. Briefly locked sulky wheels with SLY TRICKS near the 1200m. Lay inwards on various occasions during the running. Weakened on the final bend. Driver N Williamson reported the mare had hung throughout.
SLY TRICKS - briefly locked sulky wheels with HUNTING WEIGHT near the 1200m. Held up on the final bend.
NORTHVIEW DANCE - when questioned driver B Barclay could offer no tangible excuse for the disappointing performance.
TEDDY BAKER - over-raced and paced roughly in the score-up.
Race 3   BRUCE COLYER AUTO REFINISHERS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when NINA FRANCO broke in the score-up checking second line runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver C Ferguson elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
NINA FRANCO - fractious in the pre-race formation of the restart and was out of position at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile engagements.
MUCHO FUERTE - shifted outwards near the 800m contacting the sulky wheel of SIMPLY DELIGHTFULL and broke in consequence, losing all chance. Driver R Austin admitted a charge that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
STEEL CRUSHER - hampered near the 900m.
NEED A CHANGE - raced wide early.
THE LADYBIRD - raced wide early.
SEASTORIE - held up early in the run home.
LOVEMAKENTIME - had to be steadied near the 900m due to an easing of the pace then lay inwards and contacted track markers losing ground.
STUNIN STAR - pre-race warmed. Shifted inwards under pressure in the run home. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer A Wohlers advised the mare was a recent addition to his stable, adding he had made some gear alterations and the horse had been working well in the lead up to todays race.
CHOGI - broke in the score-up of the initial start and was out of position prior to a false start being declared.
Race 4   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
R K FINN - placed in restricted room near the 150m when MAGNETIC TERROR shifted inwards simultaneous to EVERYWHERE shifting out marginally. Authorisation of the 1st placing of MAGNETIC TERROR was withheld until driver M Williamson had the opportunity to view the replays of the final straight before electing not to proceed with a Protest.
REDNECK WOMAN - trainer B McIntyre was issued with a warning when presenting the mare without the notified blinds.
EVERYWHERE - paced roughly on various occasions during the running. Shifted up the track early in the run home when under pressure, having to be straightened by driver C Ferguson. Mr Ferguson reported the mare to be sore on a pulling up. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed EVERYWHERE to be lame in the off foreleg. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
HE'S A MEISTER - raced wide early. Weakened on the final bend.
MAGNETIC TERROR - shifted ground inwards near the 150m briefly placing R K FINN in restricted room.
BETTASTAR - raced wide through the early and middle stages.
SAGWITCH - held up early in the run home.
PROSPECT PARK - weakened from the 700m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have some bi-lateral hind lameness. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
Race 5   REGENT CAR & COMMERCIAL MOBILE PACE
JABALI - held up early on the final bend.
CHEZZ DALE - raced wide early.
THE MIGHTY MONDO - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay advised the gelding had got too far back during the running and was unable to make up the ground on a fast closing half.
TINTORETTO - over-raced in the middle stages.
HENRY MAGUIRE - briefly locked sulky stays with LOCK IT IN EDDIE rounding the first bend.

Race 6   REGENT SOUTH MOBILE PACE
MY FEELGOOD ROMANCE - broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HANGIN WITH HECTOR - paced roughly on the final bend.
FULLY CHARGED - broke briefly near the 1300m and paced roughly on various occasions thereafter.
Race 7   REGENT ROUNDABOUT MOBILE PACE
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
TISBURY ROCKS - raced wide early.
RAKANOTTA - raced wide early. When spoken to regarding the improved performance trainer/driver P Hunter advised he was not surprised by the effort given the mare had been working well in the lead up and was suited by racing on the speed today.
THE OPTIMIST - raced wide through the early and middle stages.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - improved three-wide without cover from the 900m.
WHITE DIAMOND GOLD - held up early in the run home.
TAD LINCOLN - lay inwards passing the 800m.
CHANGEAROUND - trainer M House was issued with a warning when presenting this gelding without the notified blinds. Over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 8   VERIFIED AUTOSHOP NZ GOLD CHIP FINAL (HANDICAP TROT)
OUR COUNTDOWN - broke entering the first bend. Broke passing 1900m and again passing the 1000m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Over-raced in the middle stages. Broke on a further occasion rounding the final bend. Placed on the Unruly for future standing start engagements at the request of trainer B Williamson.
ONE MORE MOMENT - driver B Orange reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - weakened from the 600m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of muscle tie-up. Stewards will follow up the recovery of GALLEONS AMBASSADOR with trainer J Morrison in the coming days.
GIFT CARD - broke rounding the first bend. Broke again passing 1800m. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages. Stewards lodged a Protest against 4th placing being awarded alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 150m when breaking passing the 1800m. Connections did not contest the Protest and after viewing replays the Adjudicative Committee disqualified GIFT CARD from 4th placing.
MAD JACK - broke passing the 1900m losing all chance.
GRANNY ROSE - broke entering the first bend. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DWINDLE STAR - over-raced in the middle stages. Lay inwards and brushed track markers passing the 750m.
SVELT - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MAKE MY DAY - broke entering the first bend. Broke again near the 500m. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Trainer J Morrison advised Stewards on 1 July that GALLEONS AMBASSADOR has been treated for muscle tie up since last racing.
Race 9   SOUTHLAND BATTERIES/ALL PURPOSE ENGINEERING MOBILE PACE
SPEIGHTS ON TAP - raced wide early.
LIVY DESMA - over-raced in the score-up and the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover.
MUCHO MACHO MAN - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
I'M TROUBLE - the required Veterinary Clearance was received.
Race 10   STIRLING AUTO REPAIRS/DOMINION ELECTRIC HANDICAP TROT
RUBY SEDDON - broke after 100m.
STEEL DUST - broke entering the first bend and was retired from the race. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
GALLEONS FUTURE - tangled away. Hampered by a breaking runner on the first bend. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
ANDIAMO - over-raced when being restrained to take cover near the 1400m. Weakened on the final bend. Driver K Larsen reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running. Mr K Larsen will be spoken to the coming days regarding the manner he drove near the 1900m when shifting ground inwards placing PORT PEGASUS over track markers.
TOP HAT AND TAILS - broke near the 1800m and was retired from the race.
BREAK OUT - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
SPOTLIGHT THE VALLEY - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Weakened on the final bend.
ALLABOUTTHEMOMENT - broke passing the 950m. Hampered by a breaking runner on the first bend.
AFTERBURNER - hampered by a breaking runner on the first bend.
Driver K Larsen (ANDIAMO) was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground near the 1900m placing PORT PEGASUS over track markers.
Race 11   AUTOSURE MOBILE PACE
THE BIG LEBOWSKI - checked and broke near the 1800m checking a trailing runner and losing considerable ground.
ARABIAN BLUE - broke in the score-up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Junior driver D van Til reported ARABIAN BLUE had been striking the sulky discs throughout.
ARTATAC - junior driver G Thornley (assisted by S Ottley) admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 1800m when allowing her gelding to shift inwards checking THE BIG LEBOWSKI which broke. After viewing replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Thornley's driver's license from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 26 June (2 days).
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - checked and broke near the 1800m losing considerable ground.
