Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
BLUE ON BLACK - broke passing the 800m hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
CHRISLYNN - paced roughly shortly after the start and had to be steadied.
SPLASH OF CRIMSON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m. Held up final bend and early in the run home.
DAVID NIVEN - driver R Close reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HIT THE BEACH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m. Became awkwardly placed close to the wheel of KILLARNEY DANCE when hanging inwards after that runner shifted outwards near the 400m.
STRAWB'S CLASS ACT - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
KILLARNEY DANCE - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Lay outwards near the 300m when driver S Ottley activated the removable deafeners.

INQUIZITIVE MAN - trotted roughly middle stages. Weakened final bend.
THE FIERY SPIRIT - trotted roughly final bend. Broke near the 200m.
DIRTY HARRY - weakened final bend.
LENINGRAD - broke after 150m losing all chance.
THE RIVER BOY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
KIWI HEIR - backed away prior to the start losing all chance despite the efforts of driver G Thornley. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a standing start prior to resuming.
PIPER HIGHLANDER - slow to begin. Broke after 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 3   MICO PLUMBING & BATHROOMS MOBILE PACE
APATCHOFGOLD - over-raced middle stages.
ASIAN ELVIS - lay in and raced greenly passing the 2100m hampering a trailing runner.
HAIL LUCIUS - hampered near the 2100m. Over-raced middle stages. Hung outwards rounding the final bend and held up early in the run home.
TASMAN TEMPEST - over-raced middle stages.
Race 4   HARRISON BLOY MOBILE TROT
UNDER AND OVER - raced keenly middle stages. Weakened from the 600m. When questioned, driver G Smith advised he was disappointed with the performance. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed a respiratory infection. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
JAKARTA - held up by a weakening runner passing the 600m. Lay outwards throughout the run home.
FRANCO JORIK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver B Hope reported he would be recommending a change of bit prior to the gelding resuming.
CLYDE - weakened final bend. When questioned, driver C Thornley advised he was not disappointed with the performance given the fast time of the race.
Race 5   CHESTERS PLUMBING & BATHROOM PACE
JOHNNY ROTTEN - lay inwards final bend striking several track markers.
BONDI LUSTRE - locked wheels momentarily with PRETTYBOYCOBY near the 400m.
ROSBERG - driver M Jones was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
WESTAR LAD - broke at the start losing ground hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SONNY VISTA - hampered at the start by a breaking runner. Broke near the 400m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
EXPOSIZIONE - hung inwards when weakening final bend. When questioned regarding the performance both trainer M Jones and driver S Ottley were disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
PURE COURAGE - held up early in the run home.
STAR MAGIC - broke briefly near the 2100m losing ground.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - broke at the start. Retired from the race passing the 1800m after a side carrier strap broke and fell to the track near the 1400m. This gear was inspected and found to be sufficiently taped and in previously good condition.
HE'S A JACKALACK - held up final bend.
PRETTYBOYCOBY - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Locked wheels momentarily with BONDI LUSTRE near the 400m. Driver R Cameron was warned to exercise more care when shifting ground outwards.
MR LINCOLN - hampered at the start by a breaking runner.
Race 6   BC PLUMBERS MOBILE TROT
ALBIZIA - held up final bend. Briefly trotted roughly passing the 150m.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was unable to be driven out until the latter stages by driver M Williamson.
PAT THE MONKEY - raced wide early. Weakened near the 600m.
PALISADE - weakened final bend.
LIL MISS MUSCLES - held up final bend.
SILVERLININGS - trotted roughly final bend.
NORTIE NORTIE - broke as the start was effected losing all chance.
NAVARA - out of position at the start,
KAHNTDOITALONE - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened near the 600m.
LOVE IS EVERYWHERE - held up final bend and early in the run home.
LA DAMA - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned, driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the performance and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Trainer D Hunter advised Stewards on 29 June that LA DAMA has been sent for a brief spell and will have a change of shoeing when resuming.
Race 7   PLUMBING WORLD MOBILE PACE
RAKERO RAIDER - lay inwards final bend when weakening. When questioned, driver G Smith advised the gelding had over-raced when leading through the middle stages.
JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE - following this race driver R May was examined by St John Paramedics and cleared to fulfil his remaining driving engagements after being struck by a racing plate.
HOWLING WOLF - raced wide early. Over-raced early and middle stages.
SHELL SHOCK - paced roughly shortly after the start. Over-raced through the middle stages when being restrained to obtain cover causing driver B Orange considerable difficulty. Held up for a distance passing the 800m by a weakening runner. Weakened final bend.
MAJOR TORQUE - broke at the start losing all chance.
ELITE STYX - raced wide early. Lay inwards for a distance passing the 1300m. Weakened from the 800m. Driver T Williams reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running. When questioned regarding this, driver T Williams said he was aware the position outside the leader was available after driver B Orange (SHELL SHOCK) had restrained his runner, however, his horse had lay inwards and raced greenly on several occasions when improving forward and despite his efforts made contact with the leg of SHELL SHOCK resulting in him sustaining a punctured sulky tyre. After considering his explanation and taking into account the racing manners of both horses Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Williams of his obligations when shifting ground.
EASTWOOD DREAM - held up final bend.
Race 8   MICO PLUMBING & BATHROOMS HANDICAP PACE
BRAEVIEW KELLY - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation at the start.
HEISENBERG - driver J Dunn admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
WARLOCH - tangled away.
Race 9   DUX INDUSTRIES MOBILE TROT
BAXTER - broke briefly early in the score up. Trotted roughly early stages.
CRUSHER COLLINS - the required veterinary clearance was received. Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lay inwards rounding the first bend striking several track markers. Weakened near the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
PHOEBE IMPERIAL - held up early in the run home.
Trainer L Bond advised Stewards on 29 June that CRUSHER COLLINS has recovered well following its last start and he will continue with the mare's current preparation.
Race 10   MICO PLUMBING & BATHROOMS MOBILE PACE
SMOKIN ANNIE- driver S O'Reilly reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
CHA CHA B - driver S Thornley reported that the hopple shortener cord broke in the early stages which caused him some difficulty passing the 1700m when attempting to regather it.
KHAL DROGO - weakened final bend.
SOUNDSOFCASH - out of position at the start. Driver C Dalgety was issued a warning.

BARNSTORMER - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
SONGBIRD - held up by a weakening runner early in the run home.

BLITZEM BROMAC - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned, driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
