Race 1   UNITED FISHERIES TROT
JUSTINE JACCKA - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 70m and continued on in a break over the finish line. A Protest was lodged against 4th placing being awarded alleging the filly had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m. Connections did not contest the Protest and after viewing replays the Adjudicative Committee disqualified JUSTINE JACCKA from 4th placing.
VELOCITY JET - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 900m and on the final bend losing all chance. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
SUPERFASTSUPERSTAR - broke near the 900m losing ground. Broke again on the final bend losing all chance.
MAD JACK - raced greenly passing the 1100m.
TEASE MY TARTAN - weakened on the final bend.
THE BRONX BOMBER - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
KYLE LOCH - broke near the 150m and continued on in a break over the finish line. A Protest was lodged against promoted 4th placing being awarded alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and after viewing replays the Adjudicative Committee disqualified KYLE LOCH from promoted 4th placing.
ANDOVER THE KEYS - paced racing into the first bend before breaking losing ground. Broke again near the 850m losing all chance.
Race 2   HYDE LANDSCAPING FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
STUNIN STAR - broke in the score-up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Retired from the race near the 1400m when the hopple side carrier came adrift. Trainer R Austin was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 864(2)(d) for failing to affix gear so as not to come adrift.
THE LADYBIRD - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
MY FEELGOOD ROMANCE - weakened on the final bend and struck several track markers when laying inwards.
THREETIMESBETTER - raced wide early. Over-raced passing the 1200m and had to be steadied after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of PEARL HART.
PEARL HART - weakened from the 900m. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver T Robertson advised the filly had made abnormal breathing noises during the running. Following a post-race Veterinary examination PEARL HART was stood down pending a further endoscopic examination to be conducted in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the filly with connections.
TASHS BAD GIRL - when asked to comment on the improved performance trainer A Kyle advised he was not surprised by today's showing as the mare had been racing without luck in recent starts and had been training well in preparation for the race.
Trainer T Robertson advised Stewards on 15 June that PEARL HART will be sent for a spell.
Race 3   THANKS COLIN DIXON MOBILE PACE
KNOCKSHANBALLY - broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SLY TRICKS - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
TEDDY BAKER - raced wide early. Weakened from the 500m.
ART PROFILE - checked and broke briefly racing into the first bend. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
NGAROMA - raced inside the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver A Armour was issued with a warning.
MAXWELL ROBYN - broke racing into the first bend checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 4   SOUTHLAND FARM SERVICES MOBILE PACE
DALNESS ARIZONA - held up on the final bend.
TANGIER TANGO - driver J Morrison reported that the mare had hung throughout causing him some difficulty and he would be recommending gear changes.
TANE J J - weakened on the final bend.
TINTORETTO - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Held up again in the run home.
SWEDISH STARLET - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Raced wide early.
TISBURY ROCKS - raced wide early. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
HENRY MAGUIRE - raced wide early.
HOKONUI SAM - hung inwards on the bend near the 900m striking track markers. Held up on the final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - paced roughly early and lay outwards racing into the first bend. Over-raced in the middle stages. Held up on the final bend.
RAKANOTTA - lost ground on the final bend when under pressure.
Race 5   BARNES WILD BLUFF OYSTERS TROT
STEEL DUST - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Broke again near the 300m. Driver S Tomlinson reported the near side boring pole had broken at the start. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
RUBY SEDDON - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - trotted roughly and broke late in the run home before regaining its correct gait prior to the finish line. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
ANDIAMO - back from its Unruly position at the start.
TWO MENNY MUSCLES - stood on the mark losing ground. Weakened from the 700m.
SVELT - weakened from the 500m.
Race 6   GRINALDI LODGE MOBILE PACE
FRIENDLY EYRE - held up on the final bend.
JAFFIE J - over-raced early when wide on the track.
JABALI - raced wide early. Weakened on the final bend.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - the required Veterinary clearance was received. Raced wide throughout. Weakened from the 500m.
TAD LINCOLN - weakened on the final bend.
BETTER GALLEON - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Race 7   NORTHERN SOUTHLAND TROTTING CLUB HANDICAP TROT
JASMINE JACCKA - broke near the 300m.
BREAK OUT - tangled away.
ALLABOUTTHEMOMENT - broke near the 1900m losing considerable ground. Weakened from the 500m.
ONLY ONE WAY - junior driver M Hurrell reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SPRINGBANK MASON - trotted roughly in the run home.
Race 8   K B & ASSOCIATES ACCOUNTANTS MOBILE PACE
MUCHO FUERTE - weakened on the final bend.
NORTHVIEW DANCE - raced wide early. Over-raced in the middle stages.
FOVEAUX STRAIT - lay outwards in the score-up briefly placing HANGIN WITH HECTOR in restricted room. Raced wide early.
HANGIN WITH HECTOR - crowded in the score-up.
WARRIOR EASTON - lost ground in the middle stages. Weakened on the final bend. Junior driver S O'Reilly reported she had difficulty steering the gelding throughout.
BOBBY WATERHOUSE - broke in the score-up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance after the hopple shortener cord had become entangled round the gelding's hind leg.
ALWAYS B THERE - broke near the 100m and continued on in a break until regaining its correct gait just prior to the finish line. A Protest was lodged against 2nd placing being awarded alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m. Connections did not contest the Protest and after viewing replays the Adjudicative Committee disqualified ALWAYS B THERE from 2nd placing. Lost the near front racing plate in the run home.
THE DARK KNIGHT - weakened on the final bend.
Race 9   SOUTH PORT NZ LTD BLUFF CUP (MOBILE PACE)
SWELL TIME - over-raced passing the 1600m when being restrained to surrender the lead.
BEEZ NEEZ - raced wide without cover from the 1100m. Weakened on the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have some swelling to the left hind tendon. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse with trainer L Bond in the coming days.
BRIGADIERS SON - raced wide early. Placed in restricted room early in the run home and was contacted by WRECKING BALL before briefly locking sulky wheels with that runner which was laying inwards, simultaneous to MOGUL shifting up the track.
SIR BRIGADOON - raced wide early.
MOGUL - raced wide early. Lay outwards in the run home and shifted up the track. Junior driver W House was issued a warning to ensure he makes a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
WRECKING BALL - lay inwards early in the run home contacting BRIGADIERS SON before briefly locking sulky wheels with that runner.
HAZER - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
ARTATAC - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages with driver N Williamson reporting he did not activate the sliding blinds as a consequence.
Trainer L Bond advised Stewards on 15 June that BEEZ NEEZ will have a change of training regime by swimming the gelding to assist with its recovery.
Race 10   AWARUA SYNERGY MOBILE PACE
LOCK IT IN EDDIE - held up early in the run home.
ANN MAREE - weakened leaving the final bend. When asked to comment regarding the performance trainer/driver N Williamson advised the filly had worked hard through the middle stages to obtain the lead and peaked on its run. Mr Williamson added that considering the filly was fresh up today he was not disappointed with the effort and was of the opinion the horse would derive considerable benefit from the race. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
R U WATCHING ME - had to be steadied near the 1600m when placed in restricted room. Weakened on the final bend.
SPEIGHTS ON TAP - when asked to comment on the improved performance trainer B McLellan advised the gelding had been suited by today's race when able to be saved for one run. Mr McLellan added he had been confident of a forward showing as the horse had been working well in preparation for the race.
MELTON MAFIA - raced wide early. Weakened on the final bend. Junior driver M Hurrell was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground near the 1600m which placed R U WATCHING ME in restricted room.
CHEZZ DALE - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced in the middle stages. Held up on the final bend and early in the run home.
CAST A SHADOW - raced wide without cover from the 900m.
JACCKA OPA - briefly crowded leaving the final bend.
MAGNETIC TERROR - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
Race 11   NEXT MEETING 18TH JUNE MOBILE PACE
SANTANNA MACH - over-raced throughout when leading with the gelding contacting the sulky wheels on various occasions.
ONEDIN HURRICANE - held up on the final bend.
MUCHO MACHO MAN - weakened on the final bend.
PERCY - held up on the final bend and early in the run home.
BIZZIE LOU - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
DANGEROUS - raced wide early. Weakened on the final bend.

SAGWITCH - held up on the final bend and early in the run home.
INSARCHATWIST - broke near the 300m. Driver S Ottley reported she had sustained a punctured sulky tyre on the final bend.
LIVY DESMA - became awkwardly placed behind a weakening runner near the 400m and made contact with the sulky wheel of INSARCHATWIST despite the efforts of junior driver S O'Reilly. Continued to be held up rounding the final bend.
