Trainer M Nyhan advised Stewards on 2 June that MADELEINE STOWE had recovered well following its last start and will continue with the mare's current preparation.

Race 2 - THE TWO NOELS TROT
Driver R Holmes (SINNER COOL) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in an excessive and continuous manner in the run home. After hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
Race 4 - TURF SERVICES READYLAWN TIMARU PACE
Driver R Holmes (ON REPORT) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After hearing penalty submissions Mr Holmes' driver's licence was suspended by the Adjudicative Committee from the conclusion of racing on 5 June up to and including 17 June 2022 (3 days).

Race 1   SPEIGHTS SUMMIT ULTRA MOBILE PACE
INTERPOL - became awkwardly placed when racing to the inside of STRAWB'S CLASS ACT when the pace steadied near the 1300 metres.
LONE WOLF - broke in the score up hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier record. Trainer B White reported the horse will be gelded prior to resuming.
SHELL SHOCK - placed in restricted room near the 1700m when STRAWB'S CLASS ACT shifted inwards. Raced greenly for a distance passing the 1400m.
STRAWB'S CLASS ACT - shifted inwards near the 1700m placing SHELL SHOCK in restricted room. Driver R Alfeld was warned for the manner in which he drove when shifting ground.
FLYAWAY - placed in restricted room near the 1800m then lay inwards despite the efforts of driver R Holmes locking wheels with AMP IT UP resulting in both runners losing all chance. After speaking with driver R Holmes a warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
HIT THE BEACH - out of position at the candy pole and start. Shifted inwards near the 1800m placing FLYAWAY in restricted room momentarily. Hung inwards leaving the final bend.
MACY BLACK - out of position at the candy pole and start. Weakened final bend.
DAVID NIVEN - lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 1500m. Paced roughly on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
HOWLING WOLF - hampered in the score up however was in position at the start.
AMP IT UP - hampered in the score up however was in position at the start. Locked wheels with FLYAWAY which lay inwards near the 1800m losing all chance.
PRINCE ALBERT - paced roughly in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start. Continued to pace roughly on several occasions during the running. Weakened final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver J Morrison advised the gelding had paced roughly throughout.

CASHEM - held up final bend.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - trotted roughly on the final bend.
HA'PENNY BRIDGE - broke at the start losing all chance.
SHOW THE WAY - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
IT'S SO EASY - over-raced and then raced greenly near the 1300m. Trotted roughly throughout the run home.
THE PRESENT MAKER - driver M Jones reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
THE FIERY COUNTESS - broke near the 1100m losing all chance.
PIPER HIGHLANDER - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room early in the run home. Driver R May reported the sliding blinds had not been activated in consequence.
PAIGE - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 3   BOMBAY SAPPHIRE (JUNIOR DRIVERS) HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared when the barrier strand failed to clear the track.
TAKE AFTER ME - weakened final bend.
ASIAN ELVIS - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up middle stages of the run home.
A ROCKNROLL STAR - broke at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
ARABIAN BLUE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CHA CHA B - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LOYALIST - lay inwards in the run home having to be steadied on several occasions.
Race 4   JOHNNIE WALKER MOBILE TROT
LA DAMA - a false start was declared when LA DAMA broke in the score up hampering PAT THE MONKEY. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver T Williams elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the re-start. Held up final bend.
INSTANT DELIGHT - trotted roughly late in the score up of the re-start and was out of position at the start. Raced wide from the 1000m.
LOVE IS EVERYWHERE - held up final bend.
LIL MISS MUSCLES - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised the mare had travelled lethargically throughout and she was disappointed with the effort. Trainer M Jones advised he would be changing the training regime and increasing the horse's workload prior to its next start.
LINE A LOVE - raced wide early.
OUR COUNTDOWN - broke shortly after the re-start. Over-raced middle stages.
SUNNY SON - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 600m. The connections advised the gelding had become unsettled as a result of the false start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
AIGUILLE - held up early in the run home.
OUR PINOCCHIO - hung outwards late in the score up and was out of position at the re-start. Raced wide near the 900m with driver P Williamson advising the gelding had been striking the wheel discs.
Trainer D Iremonger advised Stewards on 9 June that SUNNY SON had recovered well following its last start and he has been pleased with the gelding's trackwork in preparation for racing at Addington on Sunday 12 June.

RUBY'S A DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages.
WOODLEA BEAVER - late scratching at 9am on veterinary advice.
SMOKIN ANNIE - raced wide early.

Race 6   PHANTOM BILLSTICKERS MOBILE PACE
BIG MAMA MORRIS - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver K Cameron advised the mare had travelled well until the turn however failed to run on when asked for an effort and he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The connections advised blood tests will be taken in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards of the findings.
BLITZEM BROMAC - paced roughly near the 1700m.
KANSAS CITY JIM - weakened final bend. Had to be steadied when GET BACK shifted inwards near the 150 metres.
GET BACK - driver R May was warned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 150 metres when crowding an inside runner.
Race 7   STYLE MAGAZINE MOBILE PACE
BRAEVIEW KELLY - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance both driver B Orange and trainer M Jones were disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S O'Reilly. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MIKEY MAGUIRE - when questioned regarding the improved performance the connections advised the gelding had appreciated racing over the shorter distance tonight and being able to dictate its own terms in front.
WARLOCH - held up middle stages of the run home.
Race 8   ADDINGTON LADIES' NIGHT- 8 JULY FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SWEET JOY - weakened final bend.
ELITE STYX - held up early in the run home.
BONDI LUSTRE - held up early in the run home.
CHRISLYNN - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
SPARK IT UP - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
NO MATTER WAT - raced wide early. Paced roughly rounding the final bend and early in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer M Purdon in the coming days.
LIZZIE RICHTER - broke in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start.

ROYAL DEL - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
EUROKASH - late scratching at 1.20pm on veterinary advice.
SIOUX PRINCESS - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
KOWHAI MONARCH - weakened final bend.
WILLANGUS LAD - late scratching at 12pm on veterinary advice.
REPEAT PAT - tangled away. Lay outwards early stages of the run home.
KAHRESS - broke briefly at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
MAJESTIC JAG - broke racing into the first bend checking a trailing runner. Trotted roughly through the back straight on the final occasion and in the run home.
MISS CRAZED - driver B Williamson was warned to start wider on the track when drawn unruly. Checked and broke racing into the first bend.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
ARDEN'S SWEETHEART - held up early in the run home.
CLAUS - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver K Newman advised the gelding had received an economical run throughout and had been suited by the slower tempo of the race.
STAC - weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages however he was still disappointed with the performance.
