Race 8 - BETTOR TWIST PACE
Stewards spoke with driver C DeFilippi regarding the start of this event where he attempted to line up one space wider than drawn which caused tightening to other runners. Mr DeFilippi was also spoken to regarding the manner in which he shifted ground inwards entering the final straight, which crowded another runner, and issued with a warning.
Race 11 - PARTYON MOBILE PACE
Stewards spoke with driver J Dunn (SOUNDSLIKEART) regarding an incident at the 700m when he struck the wheel of Lulu Le Mans causing the tyre to deflate. After considering Mr Dunn's comments, and noting that Mr Dunn's horse had been over racing and causing him difficulties, Stewards did not take the matter any further.

Race 1   ALLIED SECURITY - BIG SUPPORTERS OF 'ADDINGTON' TROT
PRINCESS DAKOTA - began awkwardly.
BE BEE LASS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
CHEEKY MONKEY - broke at the start losing all chance.
PETULA CLARK - weakened approaching the 400 metres.
GREENBANK BETTY - hung throughout the middle stages. Broke near the 150 metres.
BUILD A BRIDGE - broke at the start, lost considerable ground.
CROWN RANGE - checked and broke at the start with the gelding settling in a pace and was not able to be returned to a trot before losing its chance.
SUNGAIT'S LEGACY - broke at start losing ground.
EILISH HALL - removed from the Unruly for standing starts.
YEA YOU - removed from the Unruly for standing starts.
YURI - became unbalanced soon after the start when shifting around a breaking runner and broke as a result losing considerable ground.
Race 2   ALLIED SECURITY - PROUDLY NZ OWNED & OPERATED MOBILE PACE
ANNIE RICHTER - weakened from the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver/trainer T Chmiel advised that he was very disappointed with the efforts of this filly. A post race veterinary examination showed no significant findings other than a poor recovery.
I AM ADALINE - lay outwards in the early stages. Driver J W Cox was fined $200 for using his whip on more occasions than is permitted by the use of whip Regulations and Rule 869(2).
MALDITO - over-raced and raced wide until near the 1000 metres. Paced roughly when awkwardly positioned between WECANDREAM and DREAM ON JAFFA near the 900 metres.
WECANDREAM - raced wide early stages. Paced roughly near the 1100 metres when awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of DREAM ON JAFFA. Was held up between weakening runners between the 600 and 300 metres.
KEY REACTOR - driver T Duley advised that she was not able to release the gelding's deafeners as the cord became entangled.
ARCHAIC LUSTRE - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
PLAY BY EAR - held up in the early stages of the run home.
Race 3   ALLIED SECURITY - FOR COMMERCIAL SECURITY MOBILE PACE
The start of this race was delayed six minutes due to the fire alarm in the Stable area being activated which lead to an evacuation.
STAR PAIGE - lay inwards under pressure final bend and struck track markers.
KAYLA MAGUIRE - an information was filed alleging M Anderson had used his whip on more occasions than is permitted and the matter was adjourned. Driver M Anderson advised that the mare shied on a number of occasions and raced greenly over the final stages.
GLACIER COASTER - paced roughly near the 1000 metres. Briefly held up at the 150 metres. Driver J Young-Grant was cautioned for the manner in which she shifted ground outwards approaching the 100 metres.
SONIC REIGN - raced wide until near the 900 metres.
TROMPEUR - raced wide early stages.
MAGICAL MATTY - wide in the early stages.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - raced wide throughout. Briefly hampered near the 100 metres by an inside runner which was shifting outwards.
Driver M Anderson (KAYLA MAGUIRE) admitted using his whip on more occasions than is permitted with the JCA suspending his licence from the conclusion of racing 19th June up to and including 26th June 2020. (3 days)
Race 4   ALLIED SECURITY - GREAT VALUE ALARM MONITORING MOBILE TROT
LISTEN EASY - broke briefly in the score up losing its position. Hung inwards and struck several track markers rounding final bend.
CABELLA NOIR - broke approaching the 1800 metres.
THE EYE OF THE TIGER - weakened near the 200 metres. When questioned regarding the mare's performance driver M Hurrell could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. Stewards will follow up with T Bagrie in the coming days.
CARNEGIE HALL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
ALADDIN SANE - out of the position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Newman. Contacted the sulky of JUSTAN'S SISTER and broke when attempting to shift around a galloping runner near the 1400 metres.
TAKE AFTER ME - out of position at the start.
JIMMY CARTER - paced in the score up and was not able to be returned to its correct gait before losing its chance.
DD'S SUPER STUART - out of position at the start. Briefly held up near the 200 metres.
TEHORO DAZZLE - out of position at the start. Hampered by galloping runners at the 1400 metres.
SIOUX PRINCESS - out of position at the start. Hampered by galloping runners at the 1400 metres.
Trainer T Bagrie advised Stewards on 9 June that THE EYE OF THE TIGER has recovered well subsequent to its disappointing performance at Addington on Sunday and has worked well in preparation for its engagement this weekend.
Race 5   ALLIED SECURITY - FOR MOBILE PATROLS & RESPONSE HCP PACE
DARRYL KERRIGAN - broke for a short distance at the start. Driver L O'Reilly was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he drove in the early stages regarding the expected manner of returning a galloping horse to its correct gait.
LOISSONYA - stood on the mark and then galloped.
FLAMBOYANT - stood on the mark and was then checked losing further ground with the gelding settling at the back of the field.
MAGICOL IDEAL - swung inwards after the start checking another runner. A warning was place on the gelding's barrier record.
OMAR SHARIF - broke at the start. Driver K Tomlinson reported that the gelding had hung throughout and will be recommending an addition of a boring pole to trainer J Miller. Returned to the stables with blood present in a nostril. A post race veterinary examination confirmed the gelding to have bled and was stood down for 30 days, after which time the horse must trial before Stewards.
POCKET CALL - was reluctant to turn into its position causing a delay. Broke in the early stages.
SWEET MARYLOU - raced greenly in the early stages before breaking after 150 metres.
REGATTA - fractious behind the barriers then swung inwards as the start was effected losing ground. Broke briefly shortly after the start. Lay inwards in the early stages of the run home.
MAGGIE - slow away then hampered in the early stages.
SISTER'S DELIGHT - hampered in the early stages. Held up final bend and home straight. Driver S Ottley reported that she did not release the mare's hood.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - hampered in the early stages.
SILENT RAPTURE - hampered by a breaking runner approaching the 2400 metres having to shift wider.
Race 6   ALLIED SECURITY - EVENT SECURITY & GUARDS MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when LIZZIE RICHTER broke late in the score up hampering TARA BROMAC.
LIZZIE RICHTER - after causing the false start driver T Chmiel elected to go to the Unruly for the restart, where the filly will remain for mobile starts. Broke briefly passing the 1200 metres.
CRACKATOR - over-raced and then broke in the score up at the first attempt. Weakened from the 500 metres. Driver M Anderson advised that the gelding had over-raced throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities other than a poor recovery. Stewards will speak with Mr Anderson in the coming days regarding the horses recovery.
BEAUDIENE HUSTLER - held up by weakening runners between 500 and 400 metres losing considerable ground.
OAXACAN DREAM - shifted outwards near the 1500 metres for a short distance. Raced wide until near the 500 metres. Stewards, after questioning driver A Cameron (assisted by employer B Hill), adjourned a matter regarding the tactics she adopted throughout the race.
JOHN JAMES PRESTON - despite the attention of the Starters Assistant the gelding refused to move away with the field and took no part in the score up. Deemed a non runner by Stewards under Rule 213 (1)(e). Stood down from mobile racing until such time it can complete a satisfactory trial.
KIWI DREAM - raced fiercely in the early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres.
Trainer M Anderson advised Stewards on 9 June that CRACKATOR has recovered well following its performance at Addington on Sunday adding that the gelding choked down during the running.
Race 7   ALLIED SECURITY - CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL & ALARMS HCP PACE
FIXED ODDS - broke at the start and shifted outwards abruptly. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Raced roughly on the final bend and lost its chance.
FLAME LADY - broke at the start.
NO NUKES SKIPPER - checked at the start when runners either side shifted ground.
BLUE CHIP DELIGHT - checked in the early stages when runners either side shifted ground.
BEAU MAJOR - shifted inwards abruptly at the start despite the efforts of driver R Holmes, hampering inside runners. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
Race 8   ALLIED SECURITY - NZ'S LARGEST SECURITY FIRM MOBILE PACE
MAJORCA - held up briefly rounding the final bend.
PLUTONIUM - had to be steadied near the 600 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
ALREADY GONE - raced wide in the early stages.
SAGANO - weakened from the 200 metres and was distanced at the finishing line. When questioned regarding the mare's performance driver S Tomlinson could only advise that she had been very disappointed with the mare's efforts. Trainer J Cox advised that it was his intention to take blood in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards if there were any irregularities.
TOUCHE - weakened from the 600 metres.
TEAM KIWI - raced wide in the early stages.
CHEDDAR MADE BETA - gave ground from the 600 metres.
CHAMPAGNEANDWINE - had to be steadied near the 600 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
JAFFA JOSH - back from the Unruly position at the start. Made contact with the sulky of PLUTONIUM and broke near the 600 metres due to an easing of the pace.
MELTON REACTOR - back from the Unruly position at the start. Over-raced in the early stages and made contact with the sulky wheel of JAFFA JOSH which was being restrained with the gelding breaking for some distance in consequence.
Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 9 June that blood tests taken from SAGANO following its disappointing performance last week have revealed a high white cell count with the mare being treated accordingly.
Race 9   ALLIED SECURITY - CONTACT alliedsecurity.co.nz HANDICAP TROT
HONEYS SON - broke after 100 metres.
MEGA PIXELS - broke after 150 metres. Broke again approaching the 2000 metres.
JERRY GARCIA - raced wide from the 1100 metres.
LAURA BUSH - broke near the 2300 metres. Cast an offside front shoe shortly after the start.
TIME IN A BOTTLE - contacted track markers on the home bend.
MICHELLE - lay inwards then broke near the 1500 metres. Driver S Ottley reported that the mare's hanging had caused her some difficulty.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - when spoken to regarding the mare's performance driver J Young-Grant advised the mare had always performed best when able to be driven with a sit close to the pace however today had been shuffled too far back.
MYSTICAL STAR - broke near the 450 metres and again near the 250 metres. A post race veterinary examination found the mare to be lame in the right hind leg. A veterinary clearance required prior to resuming racing.
Race 10   ALLIED SECURITY - CALL US ON 0800 333 308 MOBILE PACE
SMOOTH DEBATE - raced three wide in the early stages.
CAESAR'S QUEST - raced wide early stages. Paced roughly middle stages.
MORDECAI - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Tomlinson.
Trainer J McDermott reported that blood tests taken subsequent to this race showed his horse, CAESAR'S QUEST, to have been suffering from a blood disorder.
