MIKI'S BEAUTY - raced greenly near the 300m having to be straightened by driver B Orange. Mr Orange advised he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered. Mr Orange defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that he drove carelessly near the 350m when striking the sulky wheel of TOP POCKET CHANCE resulting in the tyre puncturing. After viewing replays and hearing from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Mr Orange's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 2 March up to and including 9 March 2025 (4 days).

Junior driver O Thomas, assisted by M Hurrell, was shown the replays for educational purposes. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful of Miss Thomas' lack of race day driving experience.
