Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 3rd placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging TO THE MOON AND BACK had broken in excess of 150m. Connections did not contest the protest and TO THE MOON AND BACK was disqualified by the Stewards. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B Williamson.

Prior to the authorisation of placings Stewards reviewed the footage of the start and were satisfied the gelding had received a fair start.
