Stewards spoke with driver J Douglas regarding the gelding breaking who explained he had misjudged the start point when anticipating the start resulting in THE OTHER BROTHER making minimal contact with the barrier arm and breaking in consequence. Mr Douglas was issued with a warning for the manner he drove at this stage of the race. Notwithstanding Mr Douglas's explanation a final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
