Following the race driver N Williamson (RISE UP N DANCE - 2nd placing) viewed the Stewards footage of the concluding stages and elected to lodge a protest against 1st placing being awarded to HONEYCOMB alleging interference in the run home had prevented RISE UP N DANCE from finishing ahead of that runner. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from drivers N Williamson, P Hunter (HONEYCOMB) and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest. Driver P Hunter was issued with a warning to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
