A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Mr Chmiel was warned for shifting inwards rounding the first bend and placing an inside runner in restricted room which struck several track markers. Held up late in the run home. Mr Chmiel advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.

CHICAGO SKY - lay in near the 100m contacting the back legs of DELIGHTFUL PEG which had lay out simultaneously. A post-race veterinary examination including an endoscopic procedure revealed the filly to have some respiratory tract inflammation and a slow recovery. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.

ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - broke in the score up checking a second line runner resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver C Dalgety elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance trainer L Bond advised the mare had benefitted from a change in workload and the shorter distance of the race, adding he was still surprised by the forward showing today.

A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality. Stewards will follow up with trainer L Bond in the coming days.

Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when breaking passing the 1800m.
