Driver K Franks admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.

After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McCormick's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 22 December 2024 (2 days).

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled. Stood down for the mandatory period of 30 days with connections advised a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination prior to completing a satisfactory trial would be required prior to BILL BOOTIT resuming racing.
