After viewing replays and hearing evidence from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and following submissions on penalty imposed a fine of $275.

When questioned regarding the performance, Mr Williamson advised that the tempo of the race made it difficult to make ground and with no established three wide line, he was unable to improve his position prior to the final bend. Mr Williamson added that despite this he was pleased with the manner in which the gelding had finished the race off.

Stewards inspected the gear which was found to be in previously good condition with co-trainers S and A Telfer deemed not to be at fault.
