OUR ROSE HILL - driver N Williamson was issued with a warning for using his whip over the concluding stages with a foot removed from the sulky footrest. In taking this course of action Stewards accepted Mr Williamson's explanation that the sulky seat had shifted back resulting in his foot slipping from the footrest.

PHISHING - driver T Robertson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Robertson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 23 February 2025 (2 days).

Stewards lodged a protest against the promoted 4th placing being awarded to the mare under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging MAJESTIC CHALLEN had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing the replays driver E Barron did not contest the protest and MAJESTIC CHALLEN was disqualified by the Stewards.
