ORIGIN - driver P Davis admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Davis' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 22 October 2025 (2 days).

Junior driver K Bublitz (assisted by M Williamson) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground near the 300m and allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of PETITE TRIXTON which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

After speaking with drivers B Williamson and G Goodman (BILL BOOTIT), assisted by M Williamson, and viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that BILL BOOTIT had never shifted to a position on the marker line and took the matter no further.
