Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to TROUBLESHOOTER (R May) under Rule 869A(2) alleging interference to (TOKYO ROSE) (S Ottley) placed 5th, near the 900m. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and TROUBLESHOOTER was relegated to 5th placing. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.

When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised he was disappointed and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high respiratory rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

Junior driver N Burton (assisted by J Cox) defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging she drove carelessly when shifting ground. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Miss Burton's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 30 April up to and including 4 May 2025 (2 days).
