Trotted roughly near the 50m after the gelding's hind leg made contact with the sulky wheel of DASH DOSH which was racing to the outside of ASPIRATIONAL DREAM. Stewards questioned drivers C Ward (TIME FOR VICTORY), R May (DASH DOSH), C Thornley (LOTUS FRANCO) and J Morrison (ASPIRATIONAL DREAM) regarding this incident. It was established that LOTUS FRANCO and TIME FOR VICTORY had been hanging inwards with TIME FOR VICTORY causing Mr Ward some difficulty, while simultaneously Mr Morrison was shifting ASPIRATIONAL DREAM wider on the track to obtain clear racing room which in turn caused DASH DOSH to be taken slightly wider. After reviewing the circumstances, Stewards determined that blame could not be attributed to any one horse or driver and took the matter no further.
