Stewards questioned driver W Frost regarding the tactics he adopted in the early stages and after hearing his explanation issued a charge under Rule 868(2) in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure his runner was given full opportunity to win the race or obtain the best possible finishing place by persisting with a challenge for the lead over the initial 600m resulting in his horse weakening. Mr Frost admitted the charge and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Frost's Amateur Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 24 November 2025 (3 months).

Mr House further stated that he had been unable to make up ground when attempting to improve wide on the final turn.
