A post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer L McKay confirmed the gelding had suffered from exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage. LADY WHISTLEDOWN - started wider on the track than its allocated Unruly barrier position crowding an outside runner. Junior driver T Dewe was warned for starting wider than his allocated barrier position. Raced wide early. Mr Dewe, who declined the assistance of a senior driver, admitted a charge under Rule 868(3) in that he failed to drive his runner out to the end of the race when there was a reasonable chance of finishing in 2nd placing. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dewe's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today, 4 September up to and including 9 October 2025 (5 days).
