Driver J Versteeg admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Versteeg's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 22 April up to and including 29 April 2026 (3 days).

A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration on the right front cannon bone and superficial abrasions on the right shoulder and muzzle with the filly being treated by the on course Veterinarian. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. Mr O'Reilly was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury.
