BLUEY - returned to the stable area with blood present in the right nostril. A post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer L McKay confirmed the gelding had suffered from exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.

After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Thornley's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 15 March up to and including 22 March 2026 (3 days).
