When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer J Gray advised the mare had appreciated the economical run towards the rear of the field for the first 1500m and had also benefitted from an uninterrupted run over the final stages of the race.

SADIE - broke and shifted outwards early in the score up however was in position at the start. Raced wide early. Paced roughly near the 50m after the filly's hind leg contacted the sulky wheel of SWIMMING POOLE which shifted ground outwards marginally.
