After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Morrison's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 17 May up to and including 23 May 2024 (2 days).

DON JUAN - raced greenly and was awkwardly placed close to the sulky of LOUIE VISTA resulting in a slight easing of the pace near the 1350m, hampering trailing runners. Shifted out when driver M Holbrough activated gear rounding the final bend. Stewards spoke to driver M Holbrough, assisted by M Purvis, in relation to her drive near the 1350m and again rounding the final bend. Mr Purvis advised the gelding had a tendency to race ungenerously and had overreacted to the addition of the murphy blind. Notwithstanding this Stewards advised Miss Holbrough she was expected to show better control of her horse in similar circumstances. Mr Purvis advised he would be making gear changes prior to DON JUAN racing next.
