A protest was lodged against 4th placing being awarded to MAVIS JONES (R May) by driver J Morrison (NELLIE DOYLE) placed 5th, under Rule 869A(2) alleging interference shortly after the start. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and MAVIS JONES was relegated to 5th placing. Driver R May admitted an associated charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground and after hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr May's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 4 May up to and including 14 May 2025 (4 days).
