Driver J Morrison defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly when shifting outwards abruptly locking wheels with DESTINY DANCE causing interference to SHARDS MATRIX and THE REAL MCCOY. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Mr Morrison and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the charge and Mr Morrison's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 23 May up to and including 2 June 2024 (3 days). Held up throughout the run home.

PURE COURAGE - lay outwards early in the run home and shifted up the track placing an outside runner in restricted room. Continued to shift outwards in the run home before pacing roughly near the 50m. Driver C Wigg defended a breach of Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations alleging she failed to maintain a straight course in the run home resulting in ARIZONAWILDCAT being placed in restricted room and hampered near the 200m. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions from Stewards and Ms Wigg, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the charge.

GLENGARRY MOONLIGHT - over-raced passing the 1300m when being restrained to obtain cover. Raced keenly through the middle stages. Stewards questioned driver T Chmiel regarding his decision to shift outwards leaving the final bend instead of waiting for the available run in the passing lane. After considering his explanation, Stewards issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(f) which Mr Chmiel defended, alleging he drove improperly when shifting wider on the track instead of waiting for the available run in the passing lane which enabled MIKI BENNETT (T Williams) to improve to his inside and obtain clear running. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Chmiel, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the charge.
