ULTIMATE GUINNESS - driver R Holmes was warned for being late to arrive at the start area. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Injured in the stabling area following the race and was treated by the oncourse veterinarian. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the horse racing next. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised the mare had paced roughly at various stages throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities other than a small abrasion to the right front coronet band.

Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after having blood present in the mouth area which revealed a small abrasion to the tongue. Driver R Anderson admitted a breach of Rule 868(3) in that he failed to drive the mare out to the end of the race when having a reasonable chance of finishing 4th. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Anderson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 26 January 2025 (3 days).
