Driver A White admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground when insufficiently clear of OFF THE EDGE which had to be restrained. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr White's Amateur driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 19 February up to and including 19 March 2026 (1 month).

Stewards questioned drivers B Hope (ZARLINI) and S Ottley (DAWN TO DARK) regarding this incident where it was established that both runners had shifted ground simultaneously and jostled for a short distance in an attempt to obtain a position in the running line behind HUGO. After viewing the replays and considering both drivers explanation, Stewards were satisfied no one horse or driver was at fault and accordingly took the matter no further.
