A post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer L McKay confirmed the gelding had suffered from exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
