When questioned regarding the tactics he adopted driver R Close advised that after breaking in the early stages he elected to remain at the rear of the field and attempt to obtain cover in the three wide line from the 800m however ULTURA which he had been following had failed to progress forward leaving him poorly placed rounding the final bend.
