TARRAGINDI - raced greenly and veered out sharply near the 1200m hampering trailing runners and broke losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Had to be steadied when there was an easing of the pace near the 900m. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.

A post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery with signs of muscle tie up.
