GIRL'S NIGHT OUT - Stewards spoke to drivers R Holmes (GIRL'S NIGHT OUT) and H Douglas (SOFIA ROSE) in regard to Mr Holmes' outwards movement near the 1000m. After considering the explanations tendered by both drivers, reviewing all available race footage, and taking into account their own observations, Stewards established that, notwithstanding GIRL'S NIGHT OUT having its head turned outwards, SOFIA ROSE was not dictated wider on the track prior to the 1000m. Accordingly, Stewards determined that no further action was warranted.

Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule at this stage of the race, however after reviewing the footage it was established that driver B Williamson (RIGHTAZZ) had commenced his outwards shift prior to SALUTE reaching his sulky wheel, accordingly no further action was taken.
