After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200. Mr Chmiel defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly rounding the final bend by shifting ground inwards when insufficiently clear of ROCK OR BUST (N Burton) which was checked and broke. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and both drivers, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the charge.

After viewing the replays it was established that the field had been racing loosely and DON'T STOP DREAMING (S Ottley) had shifted outwards prior to RENEGADE reaching its sulky wheel and no further action was required.
