Driver A Clark defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(g) alleging he drove in a manner capable of diminishing the chances of his horse winning by electing to race in the parked position when the opportunity existed for him to restrain and obtain cover. After hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Clark and viewing the replays, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Clark's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 1 May 2026 (8 days). A post-race veterinary examination revealed slight lameness in the right hind leg and a high heart rate.

Shifted inwards when not clear of ONE OVER DA LINE near the 1250m resulting in ONE OVER DA LINE contacting the near side sulky wheel with the tyre puncturing and coming off the rim and the gelding being retired from the race near the 1100m. Junior driver G Thornley, assisted by J Dunn, admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Miss Thornley's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 7 January up to and including 11 January 2026 (2 days).

Authorisation of placings was withheld after driver L Whittaker wished to view replays of the start and after doing so it was determined that the gelding had not been denied a fair start. Mr Whittaker admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Whittaker's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 22 March up to and including 1 April 2026 (3 days).
