Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had spoken to drivers S Thornley (STAR ON THE ROCKS) and J Young-Grant (VERDUCCI) placed 6th and were satisfied that Mr Thornley's horse had shifted inwards as a result of being crowded. After viewing the replays Mrs Young-Grant elected not to proceed with a protest with placings being duly authorised.

Mr House further advised that connections had added a rein burr for today's event and that he felt that ROBYNS ART had pulled up in front in the run home and may be better served driven in behind. Stewards noted his comments.
