DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out rule near the 1500m when this runner raced wider on the track after JAHI (H Orange) shifted outwards from the marker line. It was established that Mr Orange had commenced his outwards movement prior to DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR reaching his sulky wheel with no further action required. When questioned regarding the performance driver W House advised the gelding had proven difficult to steer at various stages and then disappointed when failing to run on. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent investigation was also opened and adjourned regarding both drivers failing to attend a hearing in the Stewards room despite being requested to do so after the race.
