LILY'S A STAR - broke shortly after the start after contacting the sulky wheel of MELTON MAGNATE losing considerable ground. Stewards lodged a protest against 12th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 150m in the early stages. Driver M Holbrough did not contest the protest and LILY'S A STAR was disqualified by Stewards. Miss Holbrough (assisted by B Mowbray) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when shifting ground and allowing her runner to strike the sulky wheel of MELTON MAGNATE resulting in her runner breaking and losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Holbrough's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 3 December up to and including 6 December 2025 (2 days).

DOVER TERRACE - broke at the start and shifted outwards checking outside and trailing runners losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. DOVER TERRACE - driver B Munro was issued a warning for crossing his reins late in the run home to perform a celebratory gesture. When questioned regarding the improved performance, caretaker trainer B Munro advised Stewards that the gelding had benefitted from a different feeding and training regime since joining his stable as per the horse movement notification. Mr Munro added that the change of environment combined with being able to train alongside other horses had contributed to an improvement in the horse's condition and competitiveness.
