Driver L McCormick admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McCormick's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 6 February up to and including 16 February 2024 (3 days).
