Driver B Orange's foot made contact with the hind leg of the mare near the 175m when he activated the removable deafeners. After viewing the replays and speaking with Mr Orange it was established that he had encountered difficulty activating the gear and when making a second attempt, the contact had been made which was deemed accidental and Stewards took the matter no further.
